I know I've been reading at a snail's pace so I'm going to try to finish this one by tonight...enjoying it though I'm only at page 33.

I am glad to see that this one is better than the first one. I didn't like it. I didn't even finish it. Great review, Elaine.

You were right Elaine, this was great! Though there were some things concerning Payton's father that i thought should have been addressed. I'm wondering, are these books connected in any way other than the lawyer theme?

No, they aren't connected as far as I know. It looks like the author is merely writing what she knows - and what a great job she's done.
You will love Something About You! The heroine's an asst US attorney and her love interest is an ex-Special Forces, now FBI agent.

I thought it coudl've been longer but that's just being greedy! Great book!

Been waiting for my Audible credit to arrive so I didn't have to pay $19.59 for it. I liked Just the Sexiest Man Alive so much more in audio than the first time I read it so I just have to try Practice Makes Perfect in audiobook since I gave such a good review for the book.
