Jessica~CoinOperatedJoy You know what, I completely agree with you. The labels and all that sheeshee talk bored me. I skipped most of it which is probably why I forgot about it till I read your review.

Tammy This series is basically Gossip Girl meets Twilight.

Exactly what my teenage daughter said about it! The series was highly recommended to us, but my daughter got bored with it very quickly. She DID say the newer books were better.

Jessica~CoinOperatedJoy Tammy, this is true. It does get better but you'll still see a little label lingo in the second book but definitely not as prevalent.

LOL It's Gossip Girl meets Twilight...with better writing. I'm still trying to get myself to pick up the second book, but I think I am going to read something in between...

Ayla my feelings exactly. I hated all the gossip and "teeny bopper" cliche-ness and when it finally got to the vampire part, it made the "gossip girl" part look like great literature. I was thoroughly bored with this book, and it was amazingly disappointing. Honestly, I didn't even bother reading the last twenty pages. The plot was predictable and forgettable, and I would give it zero stars.

Ashley I compared it to Twilight/Gossip Girl too, haha! Great to know someone else feels the same way.

I couldn't help but think that. I keep telling myself to give the series another chance, but every time I think about picking up the second book in the series... I cringe!

Kelsey Farr I would give it another try cuz i read the first few books of this series a few years ago (reading it again rite now cuz i dont remember much of it) and i do remember it getting better with each book (my opinion)
