Deeze Hey Mandy, you summed it all up perfectly. I also felt there wasn't enough of a conection before Caden went away. A few more dates would of worked better for me.

I wanted to feel sorry for Bobby and there were a couple of times I almost did, but then when he showed not the slightest little quiver of remorse, well its hard to feel sorry for a slime ball lol.

Mandy*reads obsessively* Lol, if he did that to me, you would be right, but since he didn't I think I ended up feeling sorry for him. He must be a very unhappy and lonely person....
I actually have high hopes for him in his story!

message 3: by Deeze (new)

Deeze I'm sure he will be able to redeem himself once we find out just why he is so determined to keep himself detatched even from a so called best friend lol.

Mandy*reads obsessively* Yep, I'm guessing/hoping he falls for a less than perfect specimen

message 5: by Deeze (new)

Deeze Oooooh now who he falls for should be interesting. Maybe a great looker but with a stutter or someone deaf? Missing a limb? Hmmmmm blind could work in a way. Someone that can't see what a fine sexy speciman Bobby is would really be a set back for Bobby lol.

The ideas are endless lol. But I'm guessing maybe something less obvious lol.

Mandy*reads obsessively* Yep, those are good ideas! I was thinking him needing to dal with some one day in and day out..and maybe seeing them for who they are...instead of how they look, sort of you don't know what ou have till its gone- like his BF!
Not that he falls for Caden, bit that it and this other guy teach him that lesson!
Who knows we will have to wait!

message 7: by Deeze (new)

Deeze Oooh what if Bobby lost his sight for a bit? He falls for a guys personality then his sight comes back and of course he not anything like Bobby imagined? or is that too cliche'd lol

Mandy*reads obsessively* That's a good idea, maybe a nurse or therapist he needs and then falls for and he's not perfect! Good idea, cliches are hard to avoid, I think, since everything has been done before!
I just don't like when all the tropes are stuffed into one story!

message 9: by Deeze (new)

Deeze Its going to be fun to see if we were any where close to the mark or if we are completely off track lol.

Mandy*reads obsessively* Knowing me completely wrong! LOL
I'm only good at murder mysteries, those I can usually figure out pretty quickly!

message 11: by Deeze (new)

Deeze Your one up on me then. I'm always wrong lol.

Mandy*reads obsessively* I think it's because I watched all kinds of those shows growing up, murder she wrote, Colombo and read all the Agatha Christie, Miss Marpel and Hercule Poirot..and then moved on to the true life stories!
I also read tons of true crime for a long time!
That makes me sound kind of morbid!

message 13: by Deeze (new)

Deeze LOL I can't even get it right in the repeats lol.

If your morbid then so am I. For a while I was addicted to true life crime shows.

Mandy*reads obsessively* I still am, I record them because they are on after my bedtime! The scary thing is my youngest seems to have inherited it! ;)

Anna Hi, Mandy. I'm interested in reading this book but I have a question because of the last few sentences on the blurb. Is there any infidelity, please? Because I really want to read this but now I'm kinda scared. :(

No there isn't, someone tries to cause problems between the MCs but they don't cheat. :)

Thank you so much!!! I admit, after reading a book where the author didn't warn about infidelity (which I understood, not everyone needs to be warned about it) I'm too wary of blurbs that hint at a third person getting in the way.

So, again, thank you!!! :D

Mandy*reads obsessively* One person *thinks* the other cheated..but it didn't actually happen. :)
