message 11: by Kassandra (new)

Kassandra My sentiments exactly.

message 12: by Eva Rose (new)

Eva Rose The beginning was so freaking scary, my heart was hammering in my throat and I couldn't breathe until Lucas saved her.

And OMG, Lucas story is so scary and sad, his mom, damn it his mom.

Photobucket

I really loved this book.

message 13: by Steph (new)

Steph Sinclair Man, it was so amazing. I didn't expect the book to begin to strongly like that. And when the sorority president gave that speech on rape, I just fell to pieces. "That's rape ladies." MY EMOTIONS.

Taryn at My Secret Romance I think this review said it all! There is no need to do another one!

I love when a book does this to me. I've had Easy on my kindle for what feels like ages now. I'll have to move it up on my tbr list. Thanks!

I honestly wasn't expecting to like this book as much as I did, it blew my mind.

Fafiliebe ♥ Prince Maxon ♥ Raffe ♥ i kind of had the same emotions as those in ur gifs.. i soo hate buck.. he deserved what he got, but poor Mindi.. and everyone trying to get her to shut this thing up, i mean how could they do that..

i liked when the sorority president told her story, and when she snapped at mindi for being confused.. and when lucas learned that jackie knows about his mother and he just told her to go away .. yeah that hurt.. and when he cryed :( :( :( OMG .. i looved his last sentence.. "it's easy, incerdibly easy" AAHHHHHHHHHHHH

♡Karlyn P♡ Great review!! I don't care for the YA genre, but this one is soooo far beyond that. It's just a great story, with great characters, and some great writing. Put me through the emotional ringer, too. I was laughing, swooning, and crying. The full range of possible emotions! I recommended it at any chance I get.

Barbara (VampAngel) I fell in love with this book too. It was fantastic.

message 22: by Marga (new)

Marga I havent read it but you just made me want to read it! Ugh your pre-review was so good I wanted to read it and cry with you. I'm so reading this book once I finish What A Boy Wants

Jessie (Ageless Pages Reviews) I kept passing over this as not for me, and you're making me reconsider this! Damn you, Stephanie!! ;)

@Margaret, Jessie and Jenn, READ IT! You will not regret it.

message 32: by Pauline (last edited Oct 09, 2012 10:43AM) (new)

Pauline I'm reading it right now. I am at the 8th page and I'm already pissed beyond comprehension. This girl just got on my nerves... She doesn't want to call the cops... Outrageous!

UPDATE: Ok, I'm over my initial first impression. 40 pages in and I think I'm totally hooked! ^^

message 33: by Mithrendiel (new)

Mithrendiel This book made it onto my all time favorites as well. I think it's the only book from the mature YA genre on the list. :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it too!

message 34: by Steph (last edited Oct 09, 2012 04:00PM) (new)

Steph Sinclair @Pauline, it's actually not uncommon for victims to not want to report an attack for a lot of reasons, one being embarrassment. But I'm glad you're enjoying it! :)

@Mithrendiel, it's the same for me too! It's just an awesome book!

Pauline Stephanie wrote: "@Pauline, it's actually not uncommon for victims to not want to report an attack for a lot of reasons, one being embarrassment. But I'm glad you're enjoying it! :)

I know. Most of the victims don't report the attack because they feel ashamed or are scared people won't believe them. This is why it makes me so mad reading this. Considering what happens next in the story.

message 36: by Avia (new)

Avia Easy was one of the books I have read

✌ Kaye ♡ Love & Giggles to all these gifs

message 41: by Alexandra (new)

Alexandra After reading it, I too felt like I should enroll in self-defense classes. It wouldn't hurt to know how to use your body as a weapon. Good review!

message 44: by Inda (new)

Inda Wow, that was a lot of emotional trauma for me just reading your review. Am I going to need a therapist after reading this?! I've read one other book that sounds similar to this and I'm still shaken up. And that was months ago! But what's life without a little risk? Ahaha

message 45: by Steph (new)

Steph Sinclair It was a very emotional read, so definitely read it when you are prepared for that roller coaster!

message 46: by Inda (new)

Inda Okay, I will definitely follow your advice!

message 47: by Ronyell (new)

Ronyell Awesome review Steph!!! This book had me nearly in tears also!

Cathryn Thanks! By the way. I love the cuddlebuggery blog. So glad I found it.
