ahah, what book is better than the first?
Richard learns a lot throughout the series, he has to be somewhat 'dumb'
hm, wait till the end of the series to discuss Kahlan, she has to go through that and Richard and everyone else
it allows so much more emotion to come into the series
No, I mean the first book as a whole. Of course there are parts later on in the series where they are better than what occurred in the first. Though you can’t really make that argument because it all is a series of events based on the first book.
what do you mean by idiot plot?
I wouldn’t say Richard emerged unscathed. The underworld, the veil, etc. the emotional scars cut him deeper than any wound he experienced in battle (most of the time there was a witch or wizard there to heal him so that would explain most of it).
Richard did not beat all evil ‘single-handedly’.
But if they lost their lives, what happens then, the series just ends, you need to read about Nicci.
Idiot plot> so if you didn’t like the plot or how the characters acted, why, may I ask did you continue with the series?
Wow, he does this the entire series! He never knows what to fully do. At the end, that’s a part of his power. At the end of every book he realizes to finally trust himself and his ‘power’.
Ah yes, see we can agree.
My major problem with The Stone of Tears was that the majority of the book was a slowly-paced journey across the land from the Mud People to the Palace of the Prophets. It only picked up toward the end.
