Kim I'm having trouble getting into this J... help me out...

J It was a long time ago! We were young! What did we know about literature? I was taking a philosophy class at the time - everything seemed so deep and meaningful...

Is it really bad?

message 3: by Ulrich (new)

Ulrich Krieghund I'm sure you purchased him a new copy. That would only seem just. I wouldn't have thought of that at the selfish age of 17, but the 40 year old version of myself would not return a book without its cover to a friend. Not if I expected to keep that friend.

message 4: by John McM (new)

John McM What Ulrich said. Also, please don't crack spines! Get a heavy beanbag snake, or make one. Or a fist-sized rock to keep the book open.

J We are still friends! And I no longer crack spines. I am (almost) completely reformed! Honest!
