message 2: by John (new)

John Egbert PS, your updates are hilarious and very, very true.

message 3: by John (new)

John Egbert I agree whole heartedly with this review. Wow, everything I hate about this pathetic excuse for a book is highlighted neatly. Thank you.

Plus, the pictures are hilarious.

Plus plus, WTF, Kurt. He should not be there. He should not be there at all.

Thank you. And please, take the title if you ever write a book. This one doesn't deserve it.

Spider the Doof Warrior hehehehe. He shouldn't be surrounded by all of those bears.

Also those giant microbe pictures made me giggle.

Sarah Great review! And I also know a thing or two about book-induced torture. You're not alone.

Spider the Doof Warrior Oooo. Paprika. Great movie.

Aly (Fantasy4eva) Damn! This book just seems to have gone downhill, from the beginning to the very end. Fantastic review though.

Thanks! I'm aware that there are differing opinions on it, so I'd give it a read if you're in the mood for good prose and a LGBTQ book. But the protagonist annoyed the hell out of me. I'd recommend Gone, Gone, Gone instead. It comes out next year in April.

message 15: by Sage (new)

Sage haha. well said. this made me laugh so hard. I mainly found this hilarious because you are so absolutely right and yet, I still love this book. I know the plot sucked and dade is kinda a bitch but I just found the dade x alex relationship so adorable lol. hahah I loved this review though. xD

message 16: by Juri (new)

Juri Jorn I love this

message 17: by Scarlet (new)

message 18: by Mikerline (new)

Mikerline Paul Good review :). But a little harsh haha. But I like that :D

message 19: by Zane (new)

Zane Wow, thank you for saving me the effort of reading this book. Also, thanks for making me nearly piss myself from laughing so hard.

message 20: by Maggie (new)

Maggie Simms love your funny review

message 21: by Dee (new)

Dee Um you referenced glee and I want to kiss you

Omg-books-are-my-thing! Omg! Let me start by saying that your review was hilarious. Even though I did like the book, reading this has made realize that Dade creates a lot of his own problems, and then he complains about them. I still liked the book, but reading your review has made me analyze it form a different point of view.
Thank you and you're super funny :D

message 23: by Rosa (new)

Rosa Rivera Thanks! I was about to buy this book & you're review just saved me $20

message 24: by Farah (new)

Farah Oh God. That was painful. Thanks for your review because it saved my time, money, and sanity.

message 25: by Conner (new)

Conner Ok, all I have to say about this is: I hope you have more empathy towards people in real life. You should never pull the "other people have it worse than you" card to belittle people's problems. That accomplishes nothing and just makes them feel worse.
Also, consider the angle that if the author was able to create characters that you are ranting about like they really exist, that should be a positive mark for this book, even if you didn't like them. There's a big difference between unlikeable characters and badly written ones.

message 26: by Ilyah (new)

Ilyah Nazrah I haven't read the book but this is the funniest review I've read in a while. :P

message 27: by Perween (new)

Perween you will probably never going to read this comment but what ever. I honestly loved your review and I hate reviews, its always a bunch of dimwitted people using big words they themselves don't understand, but this was refreshing!!!!!!!! I frecking loved it!! I was very amused which never happens when reading reviews since I hate them and reading yours was an accident but a good one non the less. You saved me a lot of time with this review, so thanx

message 28: by Lissy :) (new)

Lissy :) loved this review, I was trying to stumble my way through this, but I wasn't really that into it. I don't think I'm going to finish it now, it's lost my interest. Loved your review! :)

message 29: by Rishteen (new)

Rishteen Wow I never really read reviews but I read this one and I'm dying. There are like, legit tears in my eyes right now because I'm laughing so hard and everything you said is true. Your review was perfect omg

message 30: by Erichae (new)

Erichae The concept of reviewing a book is commenting on the general work. Your entire review is dictated by the fact that you don't like the main character and his opinions. The fact that this is seen as so "informative" just asserts how rash people are in reviewing these titles. While I agree with most of your points, this is a terrible review (hypocritical rant since you are whining just as childishly as Dade.)
