Echo Is that why I thought all the characters looked wrong when I watched the movie? I thought I was just a case of, "Little kid who expects actors to look just like you imagined the book characters to look when that really isn't possible." Hmm . . . makes me want to go track down the descriptions and pay closer attention.
Wonderful review, by the way. :)

David Thanks! Yeah, some of the the descriptions are markedly different from the actors who eventually played them. I believe Fezzik had a mustache in the book, and when I read that I thought, "Silly William Goldman... Andre the Giant doesn't have a mustache!"

But if he did it would have been majestic.

Emily I think both Jurassic Park (the movie) and Jurassic Park (the book) each have their own merits and are good in their own rights, but I have to say that the movie is better than the book.

David Definitely. The movie was one of the best sci-fi movies of the 90s, and while the book was fun, it wasn't really much better than your average adventure novel.

Emily That is most definitely true.

Sue CCCP Actually, it is Peter Cook at the wedding ceremony :)

David Ah, right! I just like names beginning with O. So he shall henceforth be Peter O'Cook.
