Kat Kennedy Thanks - it's nice to be appreciated for my stupidity!

Kat Kennedy Er. I meant to say my 'silliness'.

Jonathan Glad you enjoyed the book, Kat.

I'm currently writing the sequel, DDUST & DECAY.

The book will be available in the UK, by the way, also from Simon & Schuster...not sure when it lands in bookstores in Oz, however. (Sometime BEFORE the actual apocalypse I hope!)

Dust & Decay is such a great title.

Kat Kennedy Ah Jonathan, you should know that nothing comes to the bookstores ANY time before the apocalypse in Oz.

I eagerly await the sequel. I'll have you know that I expect brilliance equal to the first one!

Jonathan Thanks...I'll try to throw you a few curves. (Actually, I just wrote a scene involving a rhinoceros and a field full of crippled zombies).

Kat Kennedy *tips hat* that, dear sir, is pure brilliance in the making if I ever saw it!

Jonathan The release date for ROT & RUIN has been changed. It was Oct 5, but it's been moved up to September 14 (next Tuesday!).

YAY! I can't wait! The cover is absolutely stunning, Jonathan.

Jonathan Thanks...and Simon & Schuster hired noted zombie artist Rob Sacchetto to do a zombified author portrait and 'Zombie Cards' for the endpapers. (The kids in the story collect the cards).

I like Sacchetto's zombie art so much that I wrote him into the story.

AH Jonathan wrote: "Thanks...I'll try to throw you a few curves. (Actually, I just wrote a scene involving a rhinoceros and a field full of crippled zombies)."

Reading Rot and Ruin now and am enjoying it. Rhinoceros and a field full of crippled zombies - now I am going to have to read the sequel.

Great review, Kat!
