Ferdinand Marcos

Ferdinand Emmanuel Edralin Marcos, Sr. (September 11, 1917 – September 28, 1989), was a Filipino dictator who held the title of President of the Philippines from 1965 to 1986. His authoritarian regime was noted for corruption and human rights violations, including the embezzlement of billions of dollars from public funds into personal accounts for himself and his wife Imelda.
