Daniel X, Game Over is the fourth book in the Daniel X series. It is about an alien boy named Daniel X who has the power to create things with his mind. When the number 1 alien on ‘The List’- a super high tech list of the most dangerous aliens on Earth- murders Daniel’s parents when he is only 3 he becomes an alien hunter. With the help of his friends and family that he creates with his mind he takes on Number 7 and 8 the tag team. Soon he finds Number 1 his parent’s murder may be involved in t ...more

Okay, I love James Patterson, and his writing style is awesome and refreshing. But at this point the series is just driving me insane! First of all, I find Daniel, like, the most annoying character ever. He's cocky and smarmy and superior just way to powerful. It's like, here I am this hero protagonist Alien guy. Going up against thousands of all-powerful aliens! Oh horror! Except wait, I can manipulate matter into ANYTHING I want. Like, period. And I can transform myself. Oh, and I can read min ...more

The author of this amazing book is James Patterson. The books name is Daniel X game over. This is one of the Daniel X books in the series. There are 5 books in the series. All these books are about a boy named Daniel who chases bad aliens for a living. I would say this is an action and adventure book. It was published in September 2011 by Young Arrow. This book will cost you $12-$15.

I don’t really know what to say. I read the first three a few years ago, and maybe that’s just the reason this was not one of my favorite books. It was enjoyable, but I guess I just wasn’t as into it. I really can’t blame the book, because Daniel x is probably one of the first series I have read, but… well I really don’t know what to say. Fortunately I picked this book up at the library so I didn’t waste my money. I also picked the 4

4th book in the Daniel X series… This is a very quick and entertaining read. J.P. books are fun to read and I’ll continue pick them up as they come out. I'm not sure of the 4 star rating, but I don't think it was deserving of 3 either...didn't see a way to give half stars. I do like the stories though...what's not to like about an alien hunter?

This book was... okay. As usual with James Patterson's novels it was fast-paced and contained tons of humor. However, I just felt like I couldn't get into this book. I'm greatful it was a very quick read. It only took a couple hours to get from cover to cover.

I thought it was an ok book but it was too confusing... One second they are walking down the street and the next second they are being chased by a alien named Fred. It was a book that was different than what i would usually read.

Great book! There's probably another book after this because it was written so recently (2011.) Besides, the series hasn't reached the most anticipated point yet. :)

Why do I do this to myself? That's a good question. This is undoubtedly the worst book series I have ever read, and I came back for more of this shit. Well, my intention is to finish every series I stopped reading out of sheer distaste, and I decided to start with the nastiest one.
Instead of recapping what a poorly written pile this series is, I'm going to take this one on a little differently. See, the original Daniel X comic was one of the better standalone graphic novels I've read, and it set

In the fourth installment in the Daniel X series, Daniel is faced with an unbelievable task. Both Number 7 and Number 8 on the List of Alien Outlaws on Terra Firma, which is Earth, are running a video game empire in Tokyo. They are using the video games to brainwash kids and adults into killing machines. If Daniel is going to defeat them this time, he's going to need some help from some unlikely new friends.
At the beginning of the book, Daniel is waiting in line at the Game Consortium, the vid

Daniel X the Alien Hunter returns in the fourth book of the Daniel X book series. Being a teenager Alien Hunter isn't easy. Daniel's adventure takes place in Tokyo, Japan in Game Over by James Patterson.

This book is action packed, full of thrills, and awesome/funny comments. Want to read

Daniel X: Game Over

James Patterson. A very nice writer in my opinion. In his series Daniel X, or at least in my book, Daniel X: Game Over, he has a good writing style. He has this creativity in the book that hooks you on. Whether it's with the characters, the events inside the book, or the story in general, it seems very unique. Obviously, some parts aren't too unique, just like all books, such as the ending where things end how you'd expect. I'm a reader who only likes certain bo

Question 1: who is my favourite character and why?
My favourite character in this book is Kildare, who’s a son of two criminals who are on number 7 and number 8 on The List. Kildare is my favourite because unlike his parents, he is a good guy and he doesn’t want to be like his parents are, he wants to be a good alien and help people. Kildare is kind hearted and cares for people, he even became friends with a Plenoid who was a last of its kind.

Not every day you can travel all over the world, fighting aliens, and going back in time. That’s Daniels life every day. Daniel and his companions go around Tokyo, Japan to hunt down KIlldare’s parents, the evil aliens in the top ten most deadly list. On his journey he runs into aliens number 7 and 8’s minions. SO threw out the book he tries to hunt down Killdare’s mom and dad.

Throughout the book "Game Over" by James Patterson, it is clear that Daniel would sometimes step up for justice and good-will for the universe even though he has no one to back him up and has a lack of resources to make it possible. "As Beta started approaching, I cannot help but look away from the blinding light and heat. Then I remembered the helix of the Clleorites, such complicated alien helix that puts the human double helix to shame would die. He would harvest not only their helix but the ...more

This is the fourth book in the Daniel X series and probably the best one since the first, if not better. That said though this book took quite a while to get into and took me a while to read, which considering it is just over 200 pages long was quite surprising. But this book just did not get going until after about 100 pages or so, and up until that point it just dragged.
I'm not the biggest fan of James Patterson's childrens books and only read them, well, because they're James Patterson books

Over the summer I have read a lot of books. Daniel X: Game Over by James Patterson and Ned Rust has to be my favorite. Throughout the plot we follow a teenager Daniel X. Daniel is not the normal teenager… he is an alien from another planet. He is on earth to complete a mission that his parents never finished, killing all the bad aliens on Terra Firma (Earth). In the fourth installment of the series, Daniel X is faced with a new problem that he is not prepared for, fighting Number 7 and Number 8 ...more

Daniel X: Game Over is an amazing book. After taking down the third most dangerous alien in the universe, he goes to Japan to take on Number 7 and Number 8. Another entry into the Daniel X series. I wasn't sure if I was going to read this one, because I really lost interest in the series after the last two books, but I have a very hard time letting go of a series once I started it, so here we go. This one was definitely better than Demons and Druids, but I still had to fight to keep interested. I think there is a major flaw in the series and that is the fact that there is really only one character. All of the other characters who transfer from one b ...more

Overall, I feel that James Patterson has an amazing writing style. His ability to make the characters seem like they are talking to you is almost surreal. This experience is exemplified in this book, the fourth book in the Daniel X series. However, there are also many flaws that I feel ruin the experience of reading this book. The main problem is that I feel that the characters are all the same. Although Patterson tries to distinguish the characters by giving them unique characteristics, they al ...more

Another good installment in the Daniel X series, even though I didn't like it as much as the first books. My favorite was the first one and for me, the quality has been slowly decreasing. Not to say I didn't like it, because I did. Daniel was still awesome and funny. He actually talks to the readers, which is something I really like about this book.

The thing that I'm not crazy about is the pacing: it's too fast. I know you must be thinking, "how can a book be too fast paced? ". All the major eve
