Did no one ever buy Enid 'A Book Of Baby Names' for her Birthday? She needed it! More of the same names in this book but just as enjoyable as other books in the Popular rewards series. This one has not been hit with the pc stick as smacking as a punishment is still in here. If you didn't read Enid as a child I'm not sure you'd get much from it but if you did, it's a nice trip down memory lane :)

One of many Enid Blyton story collections I had as a young child, and probably one of my favourites. Sometimes I find Blyton (as most mid-20th Century kids' writers) a little heavy-handed with the punishments and moral lessons, but for the most part these are sweet, whimsical stories that gently remind kids to be kind to one another, responsible, and grateful for what they have. Good reminders in the 40s when this was originally written, and still good in the 21st Century.
