This is a good book is you need to learn more about graphic novels or defend your library's choice to have graphic novels in the collection. There are lists of good graphic novels for every grade, as well as a selection of lesson plans. Is it worth the arm and leg that the ALA wants for it? No, especially if you're looking for lists that include manga and other foreign works. Find it at your library or interlibrary loan it, and save money.
