To be really honest, the front cover of this book was the only thing stopping me from reading it. However, this is where the phrase: Don't judge a book by it's cover! Comes in! The book actually sounded really good - you know, with the love triangles and stuff:)

It started off quite easy to get into. Though it was confusing as i started to wonder where her Dad was but then they cleared it for me later. Unlike other books, this one slowly let us into the story rather than just practically pushing me into it.

I liked how Alice Moss put a twist in some bits! Very original! Like about the werewolvess being cursed and then there's the horrid mother, Mercy who annoys me to bits!

The plot and storyline to this is very interesting. This also shows what greed can take us to. Bargaining with someone is alwayss the wrong thing to do! Especially when you don't really know who you are bargaining with!

My favourite character to this was actually Lucas. I thought he was super cute and the nickname he gave Faye ("Flash") was even more cute. Personally, I think he took the whole "scene" thing with his mother really well, i know i wouldn't of been able to handle it if my mother was evil or somehow connected to the Devil.

Surprisingly, I didn't like Finn that much. He does sound really sweet, but i feel that he only started liking Faye because of some girl in his past who just so happens to be her Great-great-etc aunt. If you think about it, it's actually kind of gross/weird. Like, just imagine your boyfriend going out with your Great- great- great- etc aunt!

There was one bit that scared me a lot in this book, and that was the mirror bit! I know a lot of people have used that, but the way Alice Moss described it to me, was very scary.

Overall, this was an okay-ish book! Although there was some amazing bits, unfortunately there were also bits which either didn't belong there or was just a bit boring. Though, other than that, this was an amazing book!

So, das Cover find ich im Gegensatz zu einigen anderen echt schön, denn irgendwie fängt es diese Kälte, die sich durch das ganze Buch zieht, gut ein.

Faye a její nejlepší kamarádka Liz prožívají docela normální dívčí život. Všechno se ale změní, když do jejich malého městečka zavítá banda motorkářů a do odlehlého sídla se přistěhuje velmi bohatá Mercy se svým synem Lucasem. Tato kniha může být pro někoho zpočátku trochu zmatkem, protože hlavním vypravěčem není jen jediná osoba. Pohledy se nám střídají hned několikrát. Jednou se můžeme podívat, co zrovna prožívá Faye, pak přeskočíme a vidíme do hlavy Liz, Finna, Lucase a jiných. Většinou se ale střídají jen tito čtyři, občas se může najít výjimka a čtenář se může (sice nepřímo) dostat do hlavy nějakého padoucha.
Mě osobně tento styl ani tolik nevadil, jen jsem se musela vždycky naladit na tu správnou vlnu. Většinou jsem zvyklá, když knihu vyprávějí maximálně dvě střídající se osoby. Nejideálnější je jedna, ale to se pak čtenář nemůže podívat na myšlení toho druhého. Pokud se ale střídá více postav, například odstavec od odstavce, tak to může být poněkud matoucí.

Jak jsem psala výš, tyto dvě jsou nelepší kamarádky, chodí spolu nakupovat, líbí se jim kluci a dokáží klábosit klidně hodiny. Ovšem největším paradoxem na těchto dvou dívkách je, že i když jim jde doslova o krk a celé město může být zničeno, ony se klidně baví o nákupech a všemožných hloupostech. Čtenáře to po pár stránkách může už unavovat, když jedna popisuje, že si obleče tyrkysový šál s lesklou broží. Autorka to mohla trochu "ořezat" o tyto nesmyslné scény. Když se někde tlachá o ničem, čtenáře to musí zákonitě přestat bavit a může začít přeskakovat odstavce, to není pro knihu nikdy dobré.
Kdybych měla přeci jen trochu charakterizovat tyto dvě postavy, řekla bych, že Liz mi ze začátku přišla hodně namyšlená a čtenář by jí nemusel mít rád, mohla by se mu velmi rychle zprotivit. Neříkám, že je to špatně, vždycky se najde někdo, kdo je povrchní a možná trochu mimo mísu. Jenže Liz se dokázala během celé knihy krásně vypracovat. Na konci jsem si jí jednoduše oblíbila. Stala se z ní silná dívka, která se nezabývá jen tím, co si vezme na sebe a jak vypadá. Přestala soudit podle vzhledu a možná se i zamilovala do kluka, ze kterého si po celou dobu dělala srandičky.
Na Faye, jakožto hlavní protagonistku, si osud pěkně políčil. Nejenže musí žít ve strachu, jestli se jejímu otci, který si libuje ve vykopávkách, něco nestalo. Najednou se musí potýkat se zájmem dvou chlapců, kteří ji chtějí pro sebe. Jenže i taková láska sama od sebe může být smrtelně nebezpečná a ona se musí rychle rozhodnout, komu věnuje svůj poslední polibek.

O tom, že budeme mít co dočinění s vlky, už napovídá obálka knihy. V tomto případě můžu říci, že se obrázek na ní neminul ději. Všechny tyhle magické postavy dějem knihy více než pěkně zamotají a upřímně, čtenář se v tom může začít ztrácet. Osobně bych dala větší prostor vysvětlení ohledně celého toho podsvětí, protože pro mě to nebylo zcela jasně popsané. Vidíte, autorka se mohla vyhnout tomu popisování všelijakých oděvů a místo toho by neuškodilo více vysvětlit veškerou tu magii, kterou je Winter Mill prosáklý.

Abych pravdu řekla, knihu jsem popadla v Levných knihách jenom proto, že se mi líbila její obálka a musím říct, že ta je podle mého názoru opravdu hodně vyvedená. Čtenáře snad může nakrknout jen to malé kulaté oznámení o prodejnosti knihy.
Přesto jsem ale byla nucená věnovat knize jen tři hvězdičky. Námět je dobrý a také nový, čtenář to neuvidí v jen tak nějaké knize, vlkodlaky ano, ale to všechno okolo určitě ne. Problémem ovšem zůstává, že čím více to chtěla autorka ozvláštnit, tím více by se v tom mohl začít čtenář ztrácet a myšlenka celého díla by byla ztracená.
Pokud chce čtenář zažít něco nového a ze 2/3 originálního, tak mu doporučuji sáhnout po Smrtícím polibku.(less)

If I'm honest I had no motivation to read this at the beginning. Sure it sounds like a really good story but I couldn't help thinking of the other books I have that I can't wait to read. However I kept on reading and I am so glad that I did.

After the first couple of chapters I was very intrigued and wondered how the story would develop. I think the story is pretty well thought out and I really enjoyed reading the book.
I instantly fell for Finn, he's the bad boy and as always I loved him. Even though I do like Lucas' character I couldn't help thinking oh just get out of the way so we can read some more about Finn.
I think Faye is an amazing character, she's really strong and always thought about others before herself. If she thought something needed to be done about something she wouldn't sit around and wait for somebody else to do something, she got up and done something about it and I really loved that about her.

I thought the twist on the love triangle was great. I kind of expected it but that didn't stop me from being surprised and excited tho most of the surprise was yey I was right. I loved all the little hints throughout the book and I couldn't stop making my own little theories up about them. I was constantly guessing what they meant and thinking oohh maybe this links to this and so on. I love books that make me do that and though I could kind of guess these links from the clues I still couldn't stop reading as I wanted to know if what I thought was actually going to happen and that made the storyline more exciting to me.
By the time I got halfway through the book I couldn't put it down, I needed to know how it was all going to end. Were they going to defeat Mercy and save the town, who would Faye end up with and would they find a way to be together.

I really enjoyed this book and I am so excited about the next one in the series, due out in January. I will definitely be getting book two and I think I'll probably have more motivation to pick it up sooner than I did this one.
I was pleasantly surprised with this book and I enjoyed it a lot more that I thought that I would. Yet another series where I am eagerly anticipating the second book.(less)

Mortal Kiss is an amazing book. At first, I thought it would be one of those books with the typical 'girl-meets-mysterious-boy-and-falls-in-love-without-knowing-anything-about-him' kind of book, and it sort of was. Notice the 'sort of'.

I originally read this story when it was serialised on Stardoll, a gaming site for teenagers. Over a period of eight weeks, a chapter was released each day. I found out about it quite late on, when it was almost finished, so I had to catch up over a series of three days. All in all, I quite enjoyed it.

Although I enjoyed it, I would say this is a book aimed at teens at the younger end of the spectrum, 11-14 year olds. Although the characters in the novel are 16, they act very young. Almost every teen girl gets really interested in clothes and make-up at some point, but as they get older, although keeping the interest, they find other things that interest them too. Where as with Faye and her best friend Liz, this is their main interest, and react to things very much like a young teen would. Young teen novels aren't really my thing, so I found this aspect fairly annoying, but I was intrigued by the story so I kept reading anyway.

I quite liked the mythology behind the paranormal aspects of the novel. The history of the werewolves, who and why they are, was pretty intriguing and pretty unique, I thought. There were some aspects, however, ones I can't get into, I felt weren't explored well enough for my liking. It almost felt like no-one asked "why?", it was just accepted that things are like that. I would have liked more detail, more information. There was just enough to keep you reading in the hopes that it would be explained further, but it wasn't. The way the book ended leaves me with the impression that there will be a sequel, so maybe there will be more in next book.

I did like that the story was loosely based on a famous poem by an English poet, I can't tell you which without giving some of the story away. It didn't fit exactly in my opinion, but I still think it was a great way to incorporate such a famous poem into a story for young teens. Hopefully it will get teens interested in poetry!

For myself, I would have prefered it if the characters acted older, I would have believed the story a bit more if they seemed more realistic through their age. I also think the story could have been longer and filled in some of the gaps, but generally, it's a pretty exciting story! It's something I'd much prefer to read as an online story than as a book, though. The style is too young for me, personally, to love in book form. I'd say this is a book you should get your younger sister, then borrow it off her.

He's in a gang called the Black Dogs, and he's drawn to Faye because she looks like someone he used to know. Lucas is the son of Mercy Morrow. I think Lucas could have been really likeable but his character wasn't quite developed enough for that. I especially disliked the scene's in which Jimmy (a "loveable loser" who has a crush on Liz) stutters and behaves extremely awkward–they just irked me. All these characters combined formed a book that was truly difficult to finish reading.

In Mortal Kiss, the characters find out some terrifying secrets about their neighbors, but they take it a bit too well. None of the characters are really surprised when they find out what's really going on in their town. There are some bombs dropped within the book, but the lack of suspense prevents the piece of information from really having an impact. I actually read a hilarious review on Goodreads in which someone compared Mortal Kiss to the Vampire Diaries, and I could definitely see the similarities.

Nevertheless, there were some aspects of the book that had great potential. I thought the idea of the plot was pretty interesting. I think this is the sort of book that teens on the younger end of the "young adult" age spectrum might enjoy because it's actually okay if you ignore the utter lack of character development and suspense. I think I would have enjoyed this book if I had read it at a younger age, but it just didn't do it for me.

BTW, I'm not entirely sure what the title has to do with the actual book. (less)

Okay, I'm a huge fan of werewolf novels so if you have to ask who I would have chosen in those oh so famous novels well, any way I digress.

Faye finds herself caught in a wealth of action with her father absent on a dig and school starting too. She and her friend Liz who is caught up in the new kid Lucas whose famous mother moves to town. Faye isn't interested at all in him but he seems to like her just fine to Liz's discontent.

My friend showed me this book at school so I borrowed it from the library .I must say this book is one of my top 5 books I've ever read.

This story is like a real love triangle for Faye as the conflict with her emotions for Lucas and Finn get in many situations for her. I have had this on my shelf for ages as at one point I had heard so many good things about it tat I had to get it but then once I got it, it took me ages to get around to reading it.

As well as it being confusing and slow I also found it rather shallow but again when everything picked up so did this area as there seemed to be more important things than looks and even love.

Faye was an okay character and I didn't really think much of her until the end when she was willing to do some serious sacrificing which did actually make her a much more likable character. There was times when I felt sorry for her and then other times I just think she should grow up but then some how by the end she has grown up. I hope that she stays the way she was at the end in the next book and not go back a step.

Finn was rather mysterious to start with as we didn't really know much about him but some how I still liked him as he did seem sweet even if at times I didn't understand what was going on with him. When things start to get explained Finn's story is also explained and I then understand why he was the way he was.

Lucas I wasn't sure about him as he seemed a bit off to start with but again by the end he was another great character and gave up a lot for the sake of someone else and I thought that was a great selfless thing to do.

Liz was so annoying to start with she was the most shallow of them all and I just couldn't warm to her for most of the book but she like Faye seemed to grow up a lot. She wasn't nice to Jimmy for most of the book but then all of a sudden everything changes. Jimmy was a sweet character but not in it much until the end but when we did get to see more of him the more I liked him I hope we get to see more of him in the next book.

Overall not a great start everything is annoying even the characters but then something shifts and everything and everyone improves, it's kind of like a tale of two halves. With it being good towards the end it has made me want to read the next book but I do hope it starts the way this one ended.(less)

″Mortal Kiss″ hat mich anfangs etwas an ″Nach dem Sommer″ von Maggie Stiefvater erinnert, als die Autorin beschrieb, wie es in Winter Fall einen frühen Wintereinbruch gibt und Faye nach einer Party vor Wölfen fliehen muss. Im letzten Moment rennt Faye auf die Straße und wird dort von Finn gefunden. Finn übt auf sie eine unheimliche Anziehungskraft aus, ähnlich wie auch Lucas. Doch während Lucas offen sein Interesse verkündet, so zieht sich Finn, aus unerklärlichen Gründen, immer wieder von Faye zurück.

Das Gefühl, eine ″Nach dem Sommer″-Nachmache zu lesen, vergeht schnell, sobald man als Leser den ersten Eindruck davon bekommt, wer der Antagonist ist. Ballard, der gruselige Diener von Mercy, Lucas’ Mutter, scheint immer zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort zu sein. Er scheint überall seine Augen und Ohren zu haben. Und auch, als die Bürger der Stadt anfangen sich eigenartig zu verhalten, inklusive Liz’ Vater dem Sheriff, scheint Ballard seine Finger im Spiel zu haben.

Alice Moss hat einen sehr angenehmen Schreibstil, der den Leser von der ersten Seite in seinen Bann zieht. Sehr angenehm empfand ich auch die Kapitelaufteilung der Autorin. Die meisten Kapitel sind sehr kurz, was den Vorteil hat, dass es nicht lange dauert, um zu einem Punkt zu kommen, an dem man gut aufhören kann. Der Nachteil ist, dass man durch die kurzen Kapitel dazu verführt wird, noch eines und noch eines und noch eines zu lesen, bis man plötzlich 50 Seiten weiter ist.

Sehr gut gefallen haben mir auch die wechselnden Perspektiven. Alice Moss erzählt nicht nur auch der Sicht von Faye und Liz, sondern aus auch der Sicht von Lucas, Finn und Jimmy. Durch diesen Perspektivenwechsel bekommt der Leser einen besseren Eindruck vom Geschehen und lernt die Charaktere gut kennen.

Die zwei weiblichen Protagonisten Faye und Liz haben mir gefallen. Endlich hat es eine Autorin geschafft, über zwei Mädchen zu schreiben, ohne sie in die Gruppe ″Zicke″ oder ″Mauerblümchen″ zu stecken. Faye ist ein weniger zurückhaltender als Liz, aber ist sich ihrer Schönheit bewusst und weiß damit umzugehen, ohne eingebildet zu erscheinen. Liz erscheint zu Beginn der Geschichte etwas oberflächlich, doch sie mausert sich zu einer mutigen Protagonistin, die lernt, dass nur, weil Lucas gut aussieht, er noch lang nicht der richtige für sie ist.

Die zwei männlichen Protagonisten Lucas und Finn stehen sich wie Tag und Nacht gegenüber. Während ich Finn vom ersten Moment an als sympathisch empfand, so war Lucas für mich ein reicher, nerviger Junge, der wohl zu dumm ist, zu bemerken, dass Faye kein wirkliches Interesse hat … und noch viel schlimmer ist, dass er nicht merkt, dass Liz großes Interesse an ihm hat. Aber nach etwa der Hälfte verzeiht man Lucas seine anfängliche Naivität, die er ablegt, um auf der guten Seite zu kämpfen.

Abschließend lässt sich sagen, dass ich auch alle Nebencharaktere – besonders Jimmy – als ansprechend empfunden habe. Das Einzige, was mich an der Geschichte wirklich gestört hat, und dafür gibt es auch eine Stern Abzug, ist, dass die Geschichte etwa ab Seite 180 für etwa 70 Seiten stagniert, ehe der Plot plötzlich so an Tempo zunimmt, dass man als Leser davon etwas überrannt wird. Dennoch ist ″Mortal Kiss″ ein absolut empfehlenswertes Buch und ich freue mich auf Band zwei, denn der Epilog am Ende ist ein verdammt böser und zugleich interessanter Cliffhanger.

Fazit: ″Mortal Kiss″ ist der Auftakt einer lesenswerten, mysteriösen Fantasyreihe mit glaubwürdigen Charakteren und unterhaltsamen Dialogen. Die Geschwindigkeit, in der sich der Plot entwickelt, ist an manchen Stellen nicht optimal, aber die Geschichte ist und bleibt interessant bis zur letzten Seite.(less)

Leí Mortal Kiss una vez más debido a mi latente ~~obsesión~~ gusto por los hombres lobos.
Si bien no me decepcioné de este como me ha pasado con otros, sigue sin gustarme mucho la historia. Sobre todo porque ¿hasta cuando seguirán utilizando el nombre Lucas? Además que es la segunda historia de hombre lobos que me leo con un protagonista llamado Lucas (Luz de Luna).

Die ganze Stadt kann nicht aufhören, über ihn zu reden: Lucas Morrow, Kind der berühmten und steinreichen Mercy Morrow. Liz verguckt sich in ihn und kommt ihn so auch näher, muss aber herausfinden, dass er eher an ihrer Freundin Faye interessiert ist. Diese hat doch eher den mysteriösen Finn im Visier...

Firstly being released online on Stardoll, Mortal Kiss was a sensation to most people that read it.
Each day a chapter would be released on the period of time coming up to Halloween, which was terrible suspense, because on the end of chapters, cliffhangers would just lead to more and more questions, which are answered by shocking twists with each day.
This story is in the point of view of all characters, so this gives you a better insight on the thoughts and actions of others.

Vztah s nejlepší kamarádkou Liz ale naruší příjezd příslušníků proslulé rodiny Morrowových, Lucase a jeho matky Mercy. Liz se na první pohled do Lucase zakouká, ten však má oči jen pro Faye. O další rozruch se pak postará i skupina motorkářů, kteří právě zavítali do města a jimž pevnou rukou velí Joe Crowley vychovávající dospívajícího syna Finna. Další šok utrpí obyvatelé ospalého městečka, když je v nedalekých lesích nalezena mrtvola, již mohou mít na svědomí toulaví a nebezpeční vlci. Faye, jež v sobě nezapře novinářku, se snaží přijít na to, jak spolu motorkáři, chladná Mercy i smečka vlků souvisí. Obálka knihy se ptá: Co byste obětovali za jeden polibek? Otázka by ale spíše mohla znít: Co byste obětovali za záchranu stovek a tisíců nevinných před mukami nejhlubších pekel? Poklidným městečkem Winter Mill se šíří zlo. Sníh stále padá a pohled do zrcadel se vám může stát osudným…

Román skládající se z několika propletených dějových linií překvapí svěžím a lehkým tempem, díky němuž se stránky téměř otáčejí samy. Zpočátku se zdá, že si pro nás Alice Mossová připravila obyčejný příběh dvou kamarádek ze střední, které řeší stejné problémy jako většina dívek jejich věku, tedy co na sebe a jak se zalíbit novému, bohatému a supercool klukovi. Jak děj ale postupuje, dočkáme se také několika akčních scén, autorka ovšem vykresluje atmosféru spíše popisem hrůzných okamžiků, v nichž zlo zahlédneme jen koutkem oka a poté si domýšlíme, co se vlastně děje, než aby hlavní postavy (a tím pádem i čtenáře) s jejich protivníky konfrontovala přímo – to si nechává až na samotné vyvrcholení děje.

Hlavní hrdinka Faye je nucena vybrat si mezi dvěma mladíky usilujícími o její srdce. Finn se zdá jako naivní mladíček se srdcem romantika, ačkoli vyrůstá ve skupině drsných motorkářů a vinou kletby je mu mnohem více než –náct let. Lucas jedná jako sebevědomý a lehce namyšlený frajírek, jenž odkrývá děsivá tajemství o své rodině a původu. Na rozdíl od Finna o Faye nebojuje, ale jednoduše si usmyslí, že Faye bude jeho, a podle toho také jedná. Konečné rozhodnutí je ale na silné, odvážné a rozhodné Faye. Ačkoli linie příběhu tohoto trojúhelníku není v ději primární, vítězství nad děsivým protivníkem závisí na tom, zda si Faye vybere správného kluka. Tato vedlejší zápletka sice zní lehce klišovitě i kýčovitě zároveň, autorka ovšem důvody, proč je výběr toho správného „pana Božského“ tak důležitý, vysvětluje v různých scénách příběhu. Čtenář tak není překvapen, že hrdinka je nucena zvolit si za okolností, které v příběhu nastanou.

Negativem knihy je její jazykové zpracování. Pozornému čtenáři neuniknou gramatické chyby, přespříliš slangová a nespisovná mluva postav a rušivé přechodníky. Oproti jiným románům ze žánru paranormální fantastiky, jež Levné knihy vydávají, je ovšem překlad i jazyková úprava kvalitnější. Román navíc zaujme svou obálkou, která nabízí pohled na překrásně zasněžený les i písmo připomínající vosk skapávající ze svíce.

Z množství nezodpovězených otázek, které po dočtení Smrtícího polibku vytanou čtenáři na mysli, i z doslovu, jenž za sebou zanechává otevřený konec, je zřejmé, že se jedná teprve o první díl série.(less)

At first I was put off by what appeared to me as a cliche relationship between inseparable best friends, only to be wedged apart by a gorgeous, mysterious boy who so happens to be the town's newest addition. I'm glad I persevered though; it is quite simply a refreshing, very original read.

Mortal Kiss establishes a good premise of an early mystery in its early pages, as well as the other elements that build up its plot. I was easily drawn into the little town of Winter Mill and throughout my reading experience I was constantly aware of flying pages, even unconscious of how much I have read at times. The pace does a wonderful job at putting forward the questions and unraveling the threads of mystery later on. I found myself thoroughly intrigued, and the answers to the questions are no less thrilling. I applaud the book for its originality, as although it has strong paranormal elements, it focuses on those elements where it is original and not on those so heavily retold in many paranormal novels.

There is a lack of characterisation somewhat, and throughout the book and even after reading there were several important characters who I felt like I didn't know. Others, apart from basic descriptions, lack fundamental characterisations. Hence, I There was also a small matter of not liking the main character much - I felt so much more from Liz than Faye, and it was a good thing the book was told in the third person, or else I would have disliked Faye so much more. She is, for me, a vaguer character. Naive, as well as confounding. Her erratic responses and feelings for both Finn and Luc also confused me and were not thoroughly explained. Her reactions to 'the other guy' in particular made her ultimate choice and her love for him dubious.

Nevertheless, a very riveting book with a refreshing and surprising twists and commendable originality. Thankfully, the intriguing plot outweighs the bad characterisations, so it emerges to be one good read indeed!

I enjoyed Mortal Kiss. The book began by spending a lot of time developing the characters and slowly incorporated pieces of the major storyline. It wasn't until the ending scene that we really have a true understanding of what is actually happening. I felt that it was a little far-fetched at times and found myself sarcastically saying "oh, how convenient!" I'm not going to lie, I really couldn't connect with this book and I found it boring. I didn't get past page 160, and the past 100 pages were mostly done with skim reading. I'm used to more mature books then this, as I feel it was aimed for the younger, tween type ages, though i might be wrong, but after reading other books in this genre, I feel they were to a higher standerd then this, and so i had to give it a low score even though i'm not fond of doing so, I would, however, recommend this boo...more

This book was in my folder so long that i haven't noticed it until i started my werewolf spree..that i remembered this..
It was a good book filled with werewolf and..little bit of fantasy!Though i felt a bit confusing with many POV's(which i am never gonna adjust too ..*sigh*)..the whole concept of underworld ,werwolves ,hunt was different and i am surprisingly looking forward to read sequel..to know more about Faye and Finn now that they got a chance to be together after all the hurdles!

I picked up this book because the cover was captivating and once I read the back I had to have it. Once I hear about a love triangle I have to read the book (It's just the way I am). The red and black against the white looked awesome (as my Red, White and Black room will when it's painted!). Although couple on the front weren't the most attractive :/

Typical, boring and a waste of time. It could even be turned into a Korean drama with the plot it has, but the plot's horrible.
Why was it typical?
1. There's a love triangle. Girl (Faye) ends up with the ancient guy. SERIOUSLY? It's too obvious! For some books, the age difference was great (Nightworld, Fallen and the parents in Hallowed) but this book sits with the crap and creepy (twilight- it was okay, And Eden). The young guys deserve a chance too!
