This book seems a bit repetitive. It is a collection of articles, interviews, and speeches,all of which are about the topic indicated in the title of the novel (much to your surprise, I'm sure). My main issue lies not with what Chomsky writes here or with the content of the interviews, but the collection overall.

For example, speeches and interviews tend not to be as conducive to complex analysis as essays or articles are, meaning that overarching themes or ideas are emphasized at the expense of...more

I have read many of Chomsky's books and always find them enlightening and erudite. This book prompted me to watch some of his lectures on You Tube and though he is getting pretty old, he is still very involved in the struggle against imperialism and war.

(Un)fortunately I am from a country bombed by US and NATO in 'humanitarian mission'. So I already knew some of the facts from the book. Anyway it is a very good read, and gives a different view on a global events.
