buku ini hadiah dari teman saya bernama Clara, namun, sampai sekarang saya gak tau siapa yang minjam dan tidak pernah dibalikkan lagi kepada saya. sungguh kecewa.. buku ini menurut saya GILA!! menceritakan isi pikiran seorang idiot yang jenius sekali.... semua orang juga tahu jenius dan idiot itu memiliki perbedaan yang tipis. tokoh Forrest Gump yang merupakan kisah nyata..sangat menghibur dari cara berpikirnya, kisah cintanya, dan caranya menyelesaikan masalahnya sendiri,you should read this!!
I can see that the movie was based on this book, but the movie took A LOT of artistic license. Essentially Gump is way more flawed than the movie would suggest.
Most of the events in the movie occur in some fashion in this book, but way more stuff happens to him in the book.
It was interesting reading the book of a movie I like so much. I won't be able to watch the movie again without boring the c**p out of everyone with "that's not how it happened in the book"...more
Very different than the movie. I liked it better, actually.
