Not my favorite in the series, it deals with Brice's story and it was harsh on Mel.

These 3 stars are enough to give to this book. It's very easygoing and when you finish reading, you don't think about it anymore. It's also a very quick read: I can't help feeling that angels are much more interesting characters and the author gives them a very small area (althrough they are the main characters)...
The only thing I really love about the series is how Annie Dalton adds interesting historical events to the plot. But I'm a fan of extensive books, this is embarrassingly simple.

Read this book when I was like 12. They're a fun little read for tweens and younger teens.

I really enjoy this series! Especially this one, which had them travel back to the time of the Children's Crusade. However the futuristic plot with Dom and Brice is what stops me from giving this four stars.

Definitely a younger book but it's nice to be childish and imaginative once in a while.

Her father was not always around, but when he was, he would tell her fantastical stories, often with her as the principal character. Her father left the family for good. Dalton missed him and his stories, which led her to the fantasy section at her local library, thus sparking life-long love of fiction.
