Sebastian has been a guardian angel for over three hundred years, being in charge of looking after humans while still following rules of Heaven. This year, however, for the first time, Sebastian doesn't care about consequences of breaking rules. He has become too involved with one human and he is willing to do anything to save him. Even if that means a dire punishment waiting for him when he returns ... Kevin Montgomery's life has turned upside down for the past year after his mother being hospi...more

I really loved this MM Christmas story. Have to admit I have a HUGE soft spot for guys with wings, and Sebastian was just gorgeous (inside and out). Kevin too was a wonderful character and had me rooting for a HEA right from the start. Well written, with a plot that was...okay possibly a little predicable but who cares - it was well paced and I loved the sweet and tender moments this book reveals between the characters. Definitely recommended for a great MM Christmas holiday treat!

guess i am not a fan of angels story was ok but a little too much religion for me in the book
Sebastian is a guardian angel who watches over Kevin. He knows he's a bit too close to his charge but doesn't care. When Kevin is about to be attacked, Sebastian breaks the rules and intervenes, then screws up again and lets Kevin see him. Oooops. Once Kevin gets past the "I must be insane" they start to spend time together and Sebastian falls even more in love with his charge who looks for a way to fix Kevin's money problems (mother in the hospital and owes a loan shark money). The loan shark c...more
An Angel for Christmas is a lovely, heart warming story perfect for Christmas. This is the kind of story that romance fans should love as it has the perfect amount of tension, a touch of angst but not too much, enjoyable characters, and a happy ending so charming that it kind of makes up for any faults. This is not the most believable holiday story but it has a lovely message of hope and a happy ending for fans who just want something nice and easy with for the holiday season.

I was caught between 3 or 4 stars. In the end I opted for a firm and solid 3.

Characterisation: respectable, never too rushed. It unwound itself gracefully, no complaints here. Though, I'd have liked to have got a little more about the hurt and raw pain Kevin must have been passing through, given how his world had so spectacularly unravelled for the worse.

Plot: pretty guessable. It is middle of the road, standard gay angel romance. I don't have any problem with this, you know what you are get...more

For the romantic saps among us - perfection! While there was nothing majorly surprising about the story itself, I couldn't help feeling heartwarmed and inspired by the twin messages - that wishes can come true and miracles do happen! Sebastian and Kevin were awesome characters. It's easy to see why Sebastian was completely enthralled with Kevin and willing to go out on the proverbial limb to help him. Sebastian himself - well, if he weren't already an angel, that would be the perfect term to des...more

It started out as a sweet story but after a while became way too sweet for my taste. I had mixed feelings about Sebastian. He was the perfect little angel, beautiful and caring, but sometimes his behavior seemed childish, almost cartoonish to me. (e.g. "He clamped his small hand over his mouth and looked at Kevin with wide eyes.") And he cried a bit too much. Not the type of character I like to read about but I'm sure others will find him adorable.
Oh my gosh I loved this story! It was s cute, touchy, fluffy and really brought me to tears! I just love it and enjoyed it so much! :)
A wonderful Christmas miracle! :)
Couldn't deal with it in the end. Everything just fell together so perfectly I kept skipping paragraphs and whole pages. Very anticlimactic despite the HEA.

Very lovely sweet story, not very fond of angel but I'm glad I read it.
