This isn't a book I would sit down and read cover-to-cover, though I find it a fun "encyclopedia" of sorts to look up quotes on particular topics.

Jan. 4, 2011 -- Hey, look (assuming anyone actually is looking) ... I'm back, after gawd knows how long an absence. Anyway, I'd like quickly to report that I recently retired from my day job as a reference-book editor and am now free to work full time on my own projects. And I'm now busier than ever finishing a volume of letters to Mark Twain from his readers. More later ... perhaps.
