BURNED? Are they going to be in another fire?

Is this finally the last? Has this heart gripping, midnight wakers, heart wrenching book come to its final? Has there to be another set of four? When will these liars finally be at peace or have a TYPE of ending? Is it full time to The Lying Game now? Has this become a tragedy of none? The Pretty Little Liars took you over your seat and dragged you deep into the darkest oceans to find yourself panting for more and to suffocate at the ocean floor, completely paralyzed. A series going into blame,...more
I hope this is the last one!!! I love the books..
But come on The girls always hold in their secrets.
Regret it later.
Lie to the people they love.
Then it bites them in the butt.
If she were to make another book I would be forced to read it, and this journey is getting long lol!!!
Have not ever lost any interest in the books though can't wait to read it! ;)

Ok I want to read this the MOST of ANYONE! I talk about PLL nonstop (no joke)! I been waiting for what feels like forever to get to read this: the last PLL book (or so I think)! Sadly, I'm gonna hav to wait a bit longer, but I don't know if I can hold a grudge for that long! Uggggh! :P

Yay!! Cover and title are out!!!!! :D hopefully this is the last book though..
IT'S OFFICIAL. I READ IT. AND LOVED IT.
okay, so since I'm like a supernerd, I ordered Burned on Amazon back in September, and selected one-day shipping so it showed up on my doorstep the day it's released, today. And then I got home from school and proceeded to read the whole thing in one sitting.
SPOILER ALERT!!! YOU HAVE BEEN FOREWARNED. DON'T READ THE REST OF THIS REVIEW IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE BOOK!!!!

Blech I so do not like this cover. The title blends in too much. Plus the cover for Stunning kind of set the bar high.

After finishing this book, I'm starting to lose faith in the plot. What started as an interesting, thrilling novel about five girls keeping non-life threatening secrets turned into a murderous spree. It's just not believable anymore. I know life is hard when you are teenager but we're talking about five teenagers who have committed serious crimes. They're just not hiding petty secrets, these pretty little liars are hiding murders, ex-convicts, car accident secrets, and endangering other people's...more
Sorry Sara Shepard, you've lost a fan. This series has dragged on so long that I can't keep an interest in it any more. It's just the same old same old, in each book. The only things that seem to change are the secrets, lies and who's A now.
Spencer, Aria, Emily and Hannah just sound like whiny brats now, and I just can't be bothered with wasting my time any more.
I think it's time to put this series to bed already.
Even the TV series has lost my interest, they take too many breaks, and wait too lo...more

In the book Burned by Sara Shepard, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer are at it again. But this time instead of being in Rosewood, they are going on an Eco cruise.Between real Ali coming back and Emily getting pregnant and murdering Tabitha Clark to being harassed by an anonymous person who goes by A, the girls have barely been able to breathe. But they probably shouldn't get their hopes up on the trip. Emily just wants to enjoy it before she has to go home and face her parents again, especially af...more

The Pretty Little Liars are at in again. More information starts to come out about Tabitha's death, who they pushed over a beachside deck, and they are starting to feel even more guilty. Once they board their cruise ship for an EcoCruise for school, things start to get even worse. Hanna is roomed with Naiomi, who used to be er enemy. What did you like about the book and what could have been better?
I love the mysterious suspension that Sara Shepard creates through her writing. My mother and I are currently watching the Pretty Little Liars television show together. I enjoy that both the book and television show have different plots in order to not ruin the mystery of who the anonymous “A” is. I wanted to be able to have fun reading this semester and have enjoyed reading a modern teenage girl no...more

Spoiler Alert: Thank God the Pretty Little Liars did NOT kill Tabitha!! In fact, poor Tabitha was beaten pretty badly by, whom I guessing is, Real Ali. All because Emily left the door open so she could escape.
But...
What about the security tape? The second person on the tape, since the FBI already nabbed Graham, was a male. Clearly, they weren't talking about Aria so could the new A be a guy?
And what about Graham? Sure, he did seem psycho but I think he knew who was watching Aria and her friends...more

I liked this book a lot more than the any of the other recent books in the series. It's about time that Shepard finally trapped the girls somewhere with a lot of the possible A suspects. I doubt it is realistic for a bunch of schools to go on a cruise, but I'm poor and go to potlucks, so I just might not know any better. I also like Reefer and Mike a lot more than most of the secondary characters in the series.

A typical trashy Pretty Little Liars book, where I yell at the characters for their stupidity throughout the entire thing. I sort of hate these books for being so awful, but then I need to know how it all ends, too, and so I keep reading. And, let's be honest, it's a nice little break, so read something so easy and titillating. The girls are on a cruise this time, but the book still follows the formula of the previous ones: They suspect someone who is slightly suspicious, put all their eggs in o...more
Okay, here's the deal. I know I'm about the farthest away a reader can be from the target audience of the Pretty Little Liars novels, but you guys know that it's still one of my favorite series nonetheless. If you scroll through each of the books, there's a good chance you'll find a review of me gushing lovingly over it. That being said, this series needs to end.
I'm still trying to figure out if I'm beginning to like this series less and less because (a) it is, in fact, decreasing in quality, o...more

Earlier this year, I started reading the PLL series and finally got up to date right as Stunning came out. So, this was the first actual gap I've had to sit through between two of the books. It was an interesting experience. But, picking up another Pretty Little Liars book after not reading one for about six months is kind of like going back to an old friend's house, sitting in front of their fire place, and having a homemade snack. It's really nice and I wish I could convey to some of my friend...more
Omg , have you ever discovered a series that you just have to read and every time you read it , it makes your blood pump and you are ecstatic and overjoyed and you fall into that feeling of comfort and excitement ? For me, one of the series that does it is the Pretty Little Liars series and as soon as I discovered that Book #12 Burned was available I knew I just had to read it.

I was really hoping this would be the last book but it's not.
Honestly speaking the main body of the book is exactly the same as the other pretty little liars book albeit some new names. Emily gets a crazy girlfriend again, Hannah is trying to be friends with the popular crowd, Spencer is running after another perfect guy and Aria is still kooky. Throw in A and you have it.

Ok, I went into this book thinking it was the last one (it isn't) and though I don't want this series to be over (it's my guilty pleasure extremely silly and implausible yet addicting young adult read) I really just need to know who the last A is. This series is basically a giant cock tease. You sit through about 3 or 4 books at a time watching the girls fall over themselves making horrible mistakes and embarrassing themselves, knowing each time that they will never come out on top, while they d...more
