An engaging thriller about the sleazy greed of defense contractors and leveraged buyout firms, this book kept me turning the pages. Some of the writing is clunky - the adjectives pile up, modifiers dangle, and mixed metaphors stick out awkwardly - but there's a gut-level satisfaction in watching bad guys outsmart themselves.
