Looking at his children through their obsidian eyes...beautifully written thriller...throw in an underlying current of love for his sons. Beautiful!

Actually a short story--the award-winning "Obsidian" and an excerpt from the novel "Pilate's Cross." "Obsidian" has been favorably compared to "The Twilight Zone" TV show.

J. Alexander Greenwood is author of the acclaimed John Pilate Mystery Series, including Pilate's Cross, Pilate's Key, Pilate's Ghost and Pilate's Blood (Caroline Street Press).

His most recent John Pilate Mystery, Pilate's Seven, was released in summer 2015. It is a collection of short stories told from the perspective of characters other than main character John Pilate.
