Great love story! Not a typical romance.

To Kill a Vampire by Julianna Sage is a different and interesting Vampire story. The vampires themselves are vastly different from ones that we normally read about. It’s part of what makes this tale so engrossing. To Kill a Vampire is the author’s first book and overall she does an excellent job. It’s a complex book about love and the battle between good and evil. The dialog is well written and the story flows smoothly though most of the book. The characters have good depth and are inte

This is an imaginative twist on both the vampire and the time-travel genres. The plot is intelligent, keeping the reader guessing at each twist and turn yet never able to predict what will happen next. By the time the end approaches, the final surprise takes one completely off guard. However, the problems with the book stem from the very thing that makes it interesting. This was a busy, little book. Definitely a vampyre novel with a different perspective. Vampyre and time travel. Inner beasts with names. Oh my! We're not in Kansas anymore, Toto!

I couldn't connect with several characters. Many were not developed at all.

The love scenes were plentiful but a great big yawn for me.

I'm not squeamish ( nurse by profession ) but the gore factor was just on the 'over k

This was a very fast-paced and well-thought-out book. After the first couple chapters it was easy to figure out where you are in time. It was a very imaginative idea to put vampires and time travel together. It sounds a little odd when you read the book description, but it actually works very well in this age of technology. This book goes forward in time instead of backward like most vampire stories. By the time I got to the last few chapters I just couldn't put it down...I had to see how this w ...more
