My friend won this as a Goodreads giveaway and let me read it first. I really liked this book. It has something for everyone. Each story left me having touched upon a different emotion. The characters were so well done; their personalities were obvious. It seems to me that this would be harder for an author to do in a short story. Some of the stories touched upon "uncomfortable" subjects really giving you something to think about (or not). I think this book is a winner!!

Kind of depressing, really. Not what I expected, but enjoyable, I think. I've never been one for short stories, but the collection intrigued me. It was very well put together; the transitions were well-planned. Most were well-written, but I'm still just not a fan of short story collections.

What a surprising book of short stories, just makes you realize things may not be what they seem and can change in an instant. Great book..
