Another book I really enjoyed reading and learning more about. I have roots to a regiment that fought with Stonewall in the Shenandoah so I loved being able to daydream about where my family was and went through. This is a very detailed book about the Shenandoah campaign right up to Jackson's march to aid in the Seven Day's War......

....Sears' book "To the gates of Richmond" picks right up where this book leaves off.....just not as much with Jackson.
