This book offers an interesting perspective on the events following the end of WWI and leading up to WWII in Poland. The story often seems told for the sake of the perspective, the plot being loose, but it really is interesting. And frustrating. Anti-Semitism simply does not make sense to me. Making people into "other" when they used to be just your neighbors ... it is a hard thing for the heart to hold.
