I loved Snowballs in Hell! This is another wicked adventure from Lucifer’s daughter Muriel. You'll find out the meaning of Hell’s frozen over in this book. Too hot even for Hell! This book is sure to keep you warm on those long winter nights! The ménage scenes are scorching! It’s a fun and sexy novella with a little adventure and more action between the sheets! The characters are enjoyable and bring great humor to the table.

This book picks up about one month after Lucifer’s Daughter ends. Muriel is still dealing with the ramifications of the end of Lucifer’s Daughter where she ends up in Hell, tortured by an unknown hooded figure. Back safe with her lover Auric, she has been having bad nightmares. The upside, she has been having a lot of sex – especially since it allows her magical abilities to rejuvenate. Her father Satan still has no idea why this mysterious person is trying to kill Muriel, but they all start to...more This book picks up about one month after Lucifer’s Daughter ends. Muriel is still dealing with the ramifications of the end of Lucifer’s Daughter where she ends up in Hell, tortured by an unknown hooded figure. Back safe with her lover Auric, she has been having bad nightmares. The upside, she has been having a lot of sex – especially since it allows her magical abilities to rejuvenate. Her father Satan still has no idea why this mysterious person is trying to kill Muriel, but they all start to suspect it has something to do with her mother. Both Satan and Muriel have no idea who her mother was, and they realize some sort of spell was placed upon Muriel that makes it unable for her to remember. Since her magical powers is based off of having sex, the only solution to breaking this spell and getting answers is to – well, have more sex – with a a second man.

Snowballs in Hell is another cute, erotic installment in this series. I like Muriel’s voice. Being the princess of hell she has an attitude to go with that title, but she is also really in love with Auric and has a very good relationship with the devil, her father. It’s a little silly, but it is good silly. Someone is trying to overthrow the Devil, and Muriel is deeply involved. In this one, we get more emphasis on the smexin’ than on the villain. It is determined the only way Muriel can break her spell to be able to pursue who her mother is, is to have sex with Auric..and someone else. That someone else turns out to be David, Auric’s good friend. Muriel is very against this scenario, but Auric wants her safe, and if having a ménage is the only way to do it, then darn it, they all three get into bed. And it is very sexy. I will say – the scenario of having to have a ménage to get rid of her spell isn’t my favorite. But it works pretty well in this story.

Both of these novellas are very quick reads and very entertaining. Paired with some very erotic sex scenes, I will read more from Eve Langlais.

Book two in the Princess of Hell series might be a bit short, but definitely packs quite a punch. With only a month having gone by from the first book in the series, we almost pick up where we left off. I’ll admit I was incredibly nervous when I picked this story up. I have a HUGE crush on Auric, so the idea of another man coming into the picture did not excite me. I love Auric and Muriel together, but as I started reading, guess what, I fell in love with someone else too, David.

With short circuiting a real threat to my beloved Kindle, I couldn’t help but wear a wicked grin as I was invited back into the lives of Muriel and Auric to see how much trouble this feisty princess of Hell could get into this time. Apparently a lot but the trouble – ooh la la was it FUN!

Things have gone back to normal – well as normal as they can be – after Muriel’s confrontation with the cowled Master. She’s now living with her beloved Auric and things have been quiet on the attack front. Only problem is she’s being terrorized in her dreams and just the thought or mention about the Master reduces her to a giant blob of fear. This completely annoys Muriel because hello?? Daughter of Satan and she should be afraid of no one. The nightmares worry Auric who each night stands by helpless, the only thing he’s able to do is give her some SWEEEET loving when she wakes up to replenish her sex magic. When the demon attacks start back up and the Master resurfaces, Auric and Daddy Dearest send Muriel to some mages who discover the root of the fear and a solution that horrifies Muriel to the core – in order to remove it she must invite another person into her bed, something she refuses because of her commitment to Auric. She needs to work through her issues quickly because the Master is making his move and when he extinguishes the fires of Hell, leaving it covered in snow, Muriel has to be ready and fully charged if she hopes to confront and defeat him. How will she react when sexy David enters her bed and how will she possibly ever let him leave?

Muriel continues to put a smile on my face with her sassiness and I could totally understand the turmoil she went through when everyone around her was telling her she needed to invite another man in her bed. For someone who had waited for “the one” before she gave up her virginity, the idea of sharing her sexual affections with someone other than Auric really bothered her and went against everything her heart was telling her. She knew that it was vital to remove the fear from her if she was ever to stand against the Master but for her Auric was the only one she wanted and it felt like a betrayal to their love. I loved watching her bouncing back and forth – the warring inside her as she watched David, Auric’s best friend who would be her future lover and recognize her attraction for him. I’ll give this for Muriel, once she resolves her concerns she gives herself to the situation completely and becomes stronger for it. There is such an aggressive strength to her with her confidence in who she is and that she’s not one to stand idly by while everyone fights her battles. A true no holds bare, kick butt heroine!!

The men in this book are scorching and well deserving of a loud round of applause. Auric was so yummy in Lucifer’s Daughter and he really stepped it up in SNOWBALLS IN HELL and I have to say – the dominant side of him he showed was positively arousing! I’m not ashamed to admit that each time he issued a command in the bedroom or called Muriel “woman” I melted and fell into a sighing heap. There’s something about a ruggedly handsome man who can be forceful one moment but then tender the next and as Muriel went through her struggles. Auric stood by her, held her and showed a sensitivity that was wonderful to read. By the end of the book I just wanted to reach in and take a big bite of him.

The story introduced the need for another bed partner for Muriel and I loved that David was the one they chose. Where Auric was dominant, David was a gentler version although there were times when he added his own spice and slap to the moment. As a shape shifter, he brought great heat to the threesome and I have to say, I loved the conversations he had with Muriel. He was a perfect addition and I was so happy to see that once the threat was over, Muriel didn’t just kick him to the curb with a thank you but recognized the strength he brought to the relationship and the need she had for him in her life. I think it would have broken my heart is he was tossed aside and with the juicy cliffhanger at the end of the book, I can’t wait to see more of him in the future.

This was a great book and one that I had a lot of fun reading. The author has a great ability to mix spice with interesting plotlines in such a way that you’re eager to read through to the end in one sitting. I will offer this warning though – keep something on hand because I wasn’t kidding when I said overheating is a huge risk. A definite read for lovers of paranormal erotica and those interested in spicing up their libraries. Happy reading!!

After speaking with the Mages of Hell Muriel discovers that she must bring a third into her bed to help give her enough power to break the crippling spell on her mind. But Muriel can’t stand to break her conceptions of a proper relationship which should only consist of a man and a woman. She loves Auric and can’t bear to give herself to another man, let alone his best friend.

Auric however wants David – the shape shifter – to join them if it will help his soul mate and he does everything in his power to ensure that he sees that, including going on a sudden mission and leaving David as her bodyguard.

Muriel is only so strong, and it seems that her Nympho-magic is stronger.

Once again I loved Muriel; she is everything I want in a female lead. She is strong, and can back up her tough words with some serious action. She is also a little bit selfish which is true of every woman. She wants her man all to herself and doesn’t want to share. She also has her values – absolutely hated by her father of course – that to have a proper loving relationship shouldn’t include another man. But when it comes down to the crunch Muriel can also, eventually, see what is best. Even if that includes her making the sacrifice of having two men pleasure instead of one...poor her.

Auric once again was not my favourite of characters, a little too overprotective and hard headed. One just can’t connect with him because he refuses to share his feelings. Only once do we get an insight to him throughout the whole story that he may actually be normal and not want to share Muriel but after that he goes back to being just a man who is there for Muriel to bed.

David I could actually connect with, but he seemed to have a character change halfway through. Going from cute and shy to domineering and stubborn, it didn’t ruin his character, but I just liked him before the change.

The only real disappointment that came with Snowballs In Hell was the complete lack of sexual adventure. For being the Devil’s daughter Muriel is actually quite vanilla when it comes to the bedroom. Although hot the sex is quite repetitive and mundane.

Snowballs In Hell was a fantastic follow up to Lucifer’s Daughter and while not quite as witty is proving to be a superb set-up for a third instalment in this fantastic series.

Quite enjoyable, written in the same style as the previous book in the series and picking up about a month since the last book.

I loved that having already set the scene and presenting the characters, it didn't waste any time re-acquainting us with them, but was a thrill ride.

This 2 star rating hurts me more than Eve Langlais, I'm sure. I've noticed that almost everyone loves this book.

I loved the first book in this series and I'm also an Eve Langlais fan.

But this book felt so wrong to me. It...bothered me quite a bit.

As usual I loved Muriel and everything about her. I felt that her man was not really even there and the 3rd for their trio felt like a cardboard cut-out.

But that wouldn't have bothered me too much if not for one thing:

Holy Cow what a cliffhanger! I love it! This book made it into my favorite's folder - always up for a good Manage reading :)

Once again I was able to fulfill my need from some snark and sex...this one even had a little menage in it...one of my favorite elements of the erotic world.

I was totally upended by the turn of events by the book's end. Looks like Hell is in for a little shake up in the next installment. Now THIS should be very interesting!
