Agreed! Men need respect just as much as women need love. But they both need love and respect. They just need to learn how to "speak their spouses language".

Excellent subject for a book and it is well covered. However, the subject can be covered in a few chapters and the balance of the book is repeatative.

My aunt give me this book, and I must say its a very informative book, not only does it educates it also eliminates spaces for error, when it comes to relationships by giving a spiritual and intellectual prospective of what truly a man and a woman need in a relationship. An awesome read !

Highlights from his full Love and Respect book. I wasn't going to get around to finishing the full book, so this was just the right size for me to get a taste of the principles he teaches. It was also a good reminder to me of ways that I can improve the way I talk to my husband.

Women and men both need love and respect. I felt the book was pretty good but was repetitive.

Review written for a blog tour - http://www.cassandraland.com/2011/02/...

Extremely shortened summary - great book. But it's better to take the time to read the full copy than this gift copy. You'll get the basic idea with the gift book, but the full version is better.

I didn't realize this was a gift book when I borrowed it electronically from the library. I wouldn't recommend purchasing it (unless as a gift for someone) because of how brief it is. However, there were a couple of points from the book that were worth my jotting down for future reference.

Excellent book! Participated in a small group at church that utilized the dvd sessions from the Love and Respect conferences. Women truly desire love and men desire respect; once you realize this, it is easier to define the problem.
