I so much wish that I had been able to see this game! But Goldberg does a excellent job of recapturing the atmosphere and surrounding of this epic game, even knowing the outcome. Reading this book teleports you to the days leading up to the game, I felt as if I was there as a spectator on the stands. The incidents and events are well described in the book, and its worthy of such a great game. I hope whoever that loves Sue, Dee, and all the rest of the players of UCONN and Notre Dame will read this book as this is a special time in their lives. I just finished reading it and its WOW... this is why we love basketball.

UCONN fan must-read! Birdy doing what she does best!

If you recall seeing that last second shot that Bird hit in the 2001 Big East final vs. Notre Dame, you know where this is going. Read this and enjoy it again!
