Great radio play, especially Judi Dench as the narrator. It's just very short.

This book, if I recall, was the second fantasy novel I ever read. It remained my #1 favorite book of all time for many, many years. The style of the writing and LeGuin's ability to write a truly epic story are things not to be missed.

I've never really enjoyed any of Ursula LeGuin's writings and this is about as good as it gets. The story feels like it's been done before.

Beautifully written, reminiscent of Tolkein. Young man becomes a wizard and accidentally looses an evil in the world he must deal with. First of a series I will definitely check out.

It shows that you can truly never outrun your past, and that if you don't deal with it, it will always haunt you
