I think the Blaze line is losing its heat for me. Every one I read seems to be the same as the last one. The storylines are flat and boring, there's nothing new. SEALed with a Kiss was just the same. And at the end of the book I wanted to kick both Riley and Rachel up the backside! Rachel with her cautious approach obviously broke Riley's heart when she told him she didn't want to take the risk for him, but then after a couple of days moping Rachel has a change of heart. She goes to see him and...more

A solid four-stars for this Harlequin Blaze. Riley and Rachel's story seems to take their relationship from zero to sixty in the blink of an eye--but since this is part of the conflict they face in reaching the HEA (namely the heroine wondering if their relationship is anything more than a quick fling) it isn't a negative in the books favor. The personality and history of the hero make him easily lovable.

There are only a couple of elements that kept this from a five star for me. One was the her...more
Rachel Sutherland has just finished bringing her family's B&B back from the brink of destruction. You see, while Rachel was off in the big city pursuing her marketing career, a management company about drove the B&B into the ground. But Rachel, and her sister Hailey have worked together to bring the B&B back from disaster, and it is slowly reestablishing itself as a premier place to stay in the San Diego area. The Sutherlands are particularly blessed because many of the families of N...more
SEALed with a Kiss is the sequel to SEALed and Delivered. It is the story of Rachel who works at the Sutherland B&B with her sister and following on from the fun and games that the B&B host for their guests, the SEAL speed dating is a huge hit and one particular SEAL, Riley Wilkes is very popular with the female guests.

Rachel Sutherland has kept her distance from bad boy Riley but when her sister pleads with her to welcome him home after being away for four months, both their true desire...more
I think I liked this one better than the first book in the series, SEALed and Delivered (Harlequin Blaze, #505). The attraction took the front seat this time, and the play on that was very hot. The heroine wasn't as whiny as her sister was, but she still had relationship issues that seemed a bit over the top and unbelievable. The only reason this wasn't a five star read for me is because the ending seemed rather rushed, making me want more to the book than there was. All in all, a good, fast, ro...more
Yes it's predictable...but i loved it anyway.Really liked how the author weaved a love story from love letters the heroine found in a wall of her families B&B belonging to her great-great grandparents.Rachel read the letters to Riley throughout the book. It mirrored her own relationship with Riley.Wonderful read with two love stories in one.Didn't expect that with a blaze book. Will read more by this author.

Sealed with a Kiss is an attention grabbing novel which has the power to make you read more.

Men in uniform just have to keep getting hotter and hotter especially navy seals!! & defo Riley Wilkes. Rachel Sutherland is a character I could kept reading about she's so down to earth and such a fun loving character.

Jill Monroe has wrote a flirty, sexy, fun book which I think anyone would enjoy.
Dawn ♥ romance
This steamy romance was okay. The plot was interesting enough but I never really got drawn in. Her new job was too pat, the letters were lame, and the heroine was weak. Hotel owner Rachel meets Navy SEAL Riley at the dock and things heat up fast.

A spinoff from "Uniformly Hot!" Sexual affair between a Navy SEAL and a B&B owner/ hotel development consultant turns to love. Cute and also hot.
very hot scenes, not so crazy about the plotting and speed

I credit my interest in writing romance to my grandmother. She gave me my first Harlequin to read during the hot summer days I spent on my grandparent's acreage in rural Oklahoma.

Immediately I was hooked!!!

Over the years, I would pick up a pen and write down ideas, but it wasn't until I joined Romance Writers of America and then Oklahoma Romance Writers did I become serious. During that time, I c...more
