Love Immortal packs a wallop---filled with so much steam and sex that the pages threaten to ignite with reading. I found myself engulfed in the torment of the world that surrounds Laurent, and the calming respite he finds in the arms of the stunningly handsome mortal, Sebastian Fitzhugh. Our Laurent leads life as a vampire, regretting his thirst for blood, his wicked past, and his long lost love Alistair. In the current time, even Laurent seeks what all men hunger for, the love of someone who ca...more
Judy & Marianne from Long and Short Reviews
It must have been quite harrowing to be a gay male in the 1800s, especially since social pressure to marry was so strong. Add to that complication, the fact that Sebastian's lover is immortal and jaded by centuries of one night stands, and I'm pretty sure you will understand the dilemma he faces in Love Immortal. Ms. Addams combines vampires and smoking hot manlove in this historical romance, sure to keep the reader turning pages far into the night.

The characters in this book were well written...more

Review Of Love Immortal (Mysterious Moonlight Book #1) By Brita Addams

Miss Brita sure doesn't disappoint, her Vampires are fascinating to read. Laurent is a Vampire who has learned to live with a devastating mistake, a recent loss of his lover Alistair, and is feeling completely and utterly alone. He has happened upon Sebastian by chance one night and has came to discover he likes to go to the country dances. Laurent, a recluse by choice, decides to attend a country dance in the hopes of runnin...more

I don't read much mm since I enjoy those with an intense emotional romance and this so has it and so much more!

Love Immortal is a historical gay vampire romance. The story takes place in the 19th century and although I'm not a particularly good judge of that (being Dutch and not a native English speaker) the dialogue has an authentic, ancient feel to it. The scene where our heroes, Laurent and Sebastian, meet takes place at one of those social, high-society get-togethers typical of that period in history. But other than this occasional setting and the use of some archaic phrases, the story could...more

This was a good story, but disturbing at the same time. I’m not sure what is more disturbing the story itself or the fact that I enjoyed it.

I think I've decided that "historical" m/m may not be for me. I wanted to like this more, but I just couldn't get into it. Something about the language or something just didn'twork for me - I really didn't care what happened to the characters.
