Current Titles,Mysteries and Thrillers. I won this book through Goodreads FirstReads. Overall I really enjoyed the book. The first story, Overflow Hollow, sets the tone for the rest of the stories. In my opinion, every story was very well written and very well developed for a short story (which is extremely hard). I found a common theme throughout the stories: Nothing is as it seems. This concept led to many endings being surprising, while still being predictable based on how the other stories ended. I loved the author's play on the ...more
