So far I'm very unimpressed. Grant it, I'm only 35 pages in, but still. I'm not really excited about books that have the narrator just giving me the back story or their auto biography. Like if this stuff is important, I should find it out through the story itself. But these first 35 pages I've learned about how her and the finace met and got engaged, then about the back story to her friendship with her BFF, and then on to her school and work history and how she started her business. I feel More...

The story about Anna who is engaged to Ross. Their relationship is not passionate. It is very simple where there are no arguments, they agree on most things. Ross is a sucessful business owner and so is Anna. They agreed on no children and now Anna gets pregnant while on the pill. We see how their families and friends support them at this time. Anna is also planning their wedding. This is the first book by Holly Chamberlin I have read and now I plan on reading more.

This was a book of questions. Every chapter was a lot of questions and no answers so you had a lot to think about. It was cute, but not great. I am not sure that I would read another by this author. The chapters are very short, so it does read pretty quickly. I think I might have read a similiar book about a woman being engaged and getting pregnant and then when she lost the baby, she found out she didn't want to marry the guy.

had this piece of chick-lit sitting on my to-read bookshelf at home for quite some time now and finally got around to reading it. ick ick ick ick. the main character is not likable at all and the story is cliche and expected.

Not a good read at all. None of the characters in the book are likable. I kept reading until the end, and it never got better. The beginning especially is long and way too boring.

The book was a hundred pages too long. Still, lessons can be learned from the story. Unexpected pregnancy may either make or break you as a couple. Tell that someone you really love what and how you feel before it's too late. And lastly, a girl can never survive a heartbreak without the help of her girl friends.

Mediocre chick lit but at least it had a (slightly) unexpected ending.

***spoilers***
Horrible. First of all, the only people who would be interested in this book are those who either have a baby, are currently pregnant, or want a baby someday. So why in God's name would you have your main character get accidentally knocked up, and then have her LOSE (as in miscarry) the baby, and end up childless at the end? WTF?

Horrid. Horrible. Horrendous.

It was hard for me to get into this book. Anna is very unlikable- she's very self centered & thinks she's better than other people, & probably wouldnt make a very good mother. The ending was really predictible & the writing was overly complicated- the author could have told the story in half as many pages.

i'm sure there are better fiction books out there are about women and their qualms about having babies. but once i started reading i just HAD to finish even though the characters were annoying and the writing is so so. it's no masterpiece but it's something that'll get you through a plane ride.

very predictable and sometimes had to skip some of the paragraphs because they were too boring. Had some mention of boston though which was interesting.

While this book was a bit wordy-- and the author needs a better editor, I found it thought provoking and was able to relate to the story

This book was really good. I couldn't put it down. Ross was a shithead. Anna didn't deserve him and I am so glad she got with Jack.
