More backstory on Morinaga is good! I would actually prefer the story to just revolve around his family and hometown in regards to his sexuality. Can we do that?

No?

2 stars then. Fuck it.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Just a fun read overall.
Seriously I love how this manga actually has a plot to it but still have nosebleed-worthy scenes in it. PERFECT!

In this volume we got to see more of Morinaga's past which was reaaallllyy exciting! *jumping up and down* So this manga does have depth. We got introduced to Morinaga's brother and Masaki. I CANNOT wait to see Masaki and more of this somewhat mysterious past. We saw enough of it in this volume to get a basic understanding of it b...more

Slowly/rapidly becoming the Queen of Yaoi in Europe as well, H.T.'s books do have a certain something, glimpses and breaks in the conventional yaoi narrative that justify success. The sickening bottom-has-to-be-half-forced-each-time (and it hurts and he still sort of maybe wants it -> the feminine/womanly ideal of crying with pain to indicate/induce pleasure) is counter-weighed by the bottom being the older, taller teacher, who rants and raves and hates gays and is just generally amusing/cute...more

Oh my God I love this series! The dynamic between the seme and uke is so original and awesome. You'd expect the bossy jerky one to be on top, but it's the sweet one he pushes around. And the sweet one is constantly jumping his sempai! I love how sempai is totally cool the next day after he gets forced into sex. My God it's so hot! I like how they keep it real too. You want to beleive that the seme secretly loves it, but he's so upset he doesn't even want to go to school. That just shows what a b...more

After consummating his affections with his sempai, Morinaga is frustrated by Tatsumi’s continuing indifference. Bargaining and wild sex ensues when he tries pushing his luck and Tatsumi’s boundaries. But it isn’t easy when Tatsumi himself keeps changing the rules and definition of their relationships. Are they lovers? Fuck buddies? Friends with benefits?

While it is amusing to watch as the power shifts from one man to the other, whether the two of them are lovers is a baffling question, both for...more

It's quite funny to watch Soichi relentlessly insist on not loving Morinaga - while being all pissy when someone just looks at him the wrong way. I loved the background story about Morinaga's first love, about the boy who tried to kill himself and about the secret that drove Morinaga away from his family. It's not just about Morinaga pining after Soichi anymore, the characters are becoming richer, more colorful.

Recommends it for: Anyone who likes m-m romance series
I cannot say enough good things about this series. The characters are well developed, the story line is interesting, and I will be very sorry to see it end.

how can something with a premise as wrong as this be so very, very good? i don't know, my moral compass is hopelessly adrift these days.

I don't know why I like this series so much. These two are horrible for each other. But they're so cute. And progress!
