So Eleanor, long before Nora Sutherlin was thought of, well trained submissive to Søren, is loaned out by him to spend a week with Daniel while he goes to Rome on 'business'. Daniel is a reclusive, widowed dominant who has been grief-stricken and living the life of a hermit since the death of his wife and submissive.

This little 41 page novella was spectacular. It was sexy of course but what surprised the hell out of me was how MOVING it was. Nora and Daniel had a connection, even though it was only 7 days, it was breathtaking to read. I wish that it had been a 14 day loan instead. After readingThe Siren........this is just what the Mistress ordered. I would recommend this little tiny book cause it will pleasantly knock your panties off, after all, this book is about Nora,T ...more

This author is going to be the death of me because she's breaking my heart and mind piece by piece............The MOST disfunctional, f@cked up, romance series I've ever read but a BEAUTIFUL romance all the same......can't find the words to show you how exquiste her words are, so I'll leave you with my favourite part....
Before she was a famous dominatrix, Nora was Søren's little one. When he needed to leave town he would leave her in the care of another (mentioned in The Angel) .
This was a short novella of when Nora was lent to Daniel for a week.
Three years ago, Daniel lost his wife and his possession, when she died. He is a recluse, and has been in a depression since losing the love of his life. Now Nora has come along to hopefully get him to start to live again.

"I may not touch you again for the rest of this week," he said. "Or I may fuck you blind, deaf and dumb."
Can I be put on loan, pretty please ?!? Daniel is one helluva Dom, and to think it's been three years since he's played. Elanor is one luck lucky girl!
How are you, darling? Doing good?
I have to admit, I've enjoyed this glimpse in your past.
You've managed to surprise me... yet again. Somehow, you always do.
And, let me tell you this - I really like Daniel. Another lost soul, trying to find his way. There seem to be too many of those. Or, maybe, some are just a bit more lost than others?
You have such a good way with words. As good as with a crop. Oh, you'll figure out what I'm talking about. Just you wait.
I do like Daniel. But... not
Gosh he is just so broken and yummy!!! I only love a broken man in fiction. I think it's because they are still really strong and usually fixable to a certain extent. It's not cute in real life though! This was a quick & hot read and I'm sure I will read it again and again. :D
Once again, Tiffany Reisz goes all Mr. Mesmer on me and I am lost in her thrall!
This was a delicious morsel.
I am currently delving into the free sequels on the author's website.
I'm becoming quite hopelessly enamored with Ms. Reisz' writing: her style and characters, her light and humorous tone. Simmering below the lovely writing is an angst and pathos that pulls my heart along effortlessly in its wake.
It's a sheer act of bravery to write in these themes and Ms. Reis ...more
I haven't read any books from The Original Sinners series. However, I've read so many reviews that I know most of the characters, its good and bad points.
This story offers a glimpse of a younger The Original Sinners main character and of her relationship with another key character. I think the lovers of this series may appreciate (and understand) it a bit more.

Contentment can be the enemy. But don't worry. Life, death, or an act of God will eventually intervene. Enjoy the contentment while it lasts. It won't last forever.
HUH, I'm sure I'll never know what I feel with this series. Even this short story made a huge impact, it's a necessary to read, all of the things matter, I have to know all of the details. I just know these and there I went jumping on Seven Day Loan before The Angel

We get to know more about Nora & Soren relationship in this book. I know guys, we don't get a lot of Soren in this book but to be honest, "Seven Day Loan" shows how a generous person Soren is. And also it shows how self-confident Soren is and I love self-confident men. He knows Eleanor will always go back to him :)

This short story follows twenty three year old Eleanor on a "seven day loan" with Daniel, a friend of Søren's. It was actually really interesting to see her younger as a submissive. Daniel was really interesting and if I wasn't already so in love with all the other men in Nora/Eleanor's life, I would say he is pretty perfect for her.

This book will be better enjoyed, in my humble opinion, if you've already read The Siren. Although this book is set many years prior to The Siren, it gives another snap shot of Nora's past and where she comes from. Soren is in this book, if only for the first chapter, and he continues t ...more
After losing his wife three years ago, Daniel has yet to move on. He hasn't even left his home since his wife died, except to attend her funeral. Daniel is friends with a certain priest who decides that while he is out of town, he should 'borrow' his submissive. Eleanor isn't too happy with this arrangement at first, but Daniel grows on her. She gets a glimpse of how life could be like to be with a Dom who could give her all of his attention, not a man who can give her Thursda ...more
Focuses on one of the times when Soren loaned her out to a friend to cheer him up and lure him away from his house. Nora acts a sexetherapy for a grieving widower and now a hermit Dom friend.
I've been wanting to begin this series for quite a while now and finally, just dived in. This short, prequel novella focuses on the events of a single week. During this week, Eleanor's master has "loaned" her to his friend, Daniel. Begrudgingly, Eleanor agrees to spend a week with this stranger, who has been celibate for the three years since the death of his wife. In no time, the relationship between the two heats up.

This short takes place when Nora is still Eleanor at the young age of twenty-three. Soren must leave for 7 days so he sends Eleanor to stay with Daniel during that time. Daniel is a thirty-six year old librarian who lost his wife three years ago. He has not left his house since his wife's funeral. Eleanor is on a 7 day loan but will Daniel allow her to leave when the 7 days are up? More importantly will Eleanor want to leave?

Note that Søren (priest/Master) lent Nora (his slave) to Daniel, his friend who lost his wife 2 years ago and didn't leave his property since then. If you don't like the idea that a dom could lend his sub to someone else, forget this book.
