"Best Covenant Book Yet!!"

I can honestly say this is the best book in the Covenant series by far and I have hope that JLA can set the bar higher for the next book because this book is OUTRAGEOUS!!!

WELL...

There were things that sucked daimon butt,
there were things that kicked daimon butt.
Everything I was dreading would happen,
happened but the romance aside,
Deity was awesome.
There's the same humor,
action, && sexiness in Deity
that we're accustomed to in all Jenn's books
Always entertaining && hard to put down.
Even when things are happening
that just rip you apart.

We all knew it would happen. I can't say I was shocked. I expected it to happen just like it happened. Something drastic had to happen to Alex (her death) for him to break free of the rules and admit his feelings and finally be with her. Totally predicted that. I can't say that I hate him. SHOCKER! I found respect for him in Deity. He stopped with the pushing and pulling and all the games and just manned up. That's all I was waiting for. His love for Alex is obvious and genuine. I always thought he was boring but seeing how he lightened up with Alex, I actually liked that, that he could be funny. I know the perfect song for them. Treacherous - Taylor Swift. So, I'm not mad that she's with him, I'm just disappointed in the path Seth's character has taken. His character always lightened up situations and that's what I loved about him. He was...

He was the fun in all the drama that was Alex's life and now the positions are reversed and he's the drama. WHAT THE HELL!? Turns out he had nefarious plans, lies, and betrayal burning up his whole relationship with Alex. I actually kind of like the evil bad boy thing as long as his feelings are genuine when it comes to the girl but with Seth, it's kind of hard to tell. He's so cocky and egotistical with all this extra energy flowing through him and changing him. He takes everything someone says and does as a challenge. This wasn't the Seth we were introduced to and I feel betrayed every bit as much as Alex does. I had hope just like she did. I mean, he has to care for her, that all couldn't have been faked. Could it? I saw his care for her behind his actions. I know that's just gotta be the Apollyon power and his pain of what he went through in life and probably the fact that he isn't a star of Alex's affections, not him - the real him. Gods, I have so much hope for him still. I hope he doesn't trash that. I hope he doesn't push Alex to do awful things. I hope he pulls through, out of the insanity. I hope he doesn't die. I hope he can at least be a friend to Alex in the end. I just wish that Alex would figure out how to take power from him already. She's done it before when she blew up that rock. She knows she can do it and Artemis mentioned it. I just want to give her a big DUH. She should have figured that out a long time ago and maybe prevented things from happening. She never even tried to really use her powers though. Ugh. So frustrating.

Anyway, I like the whole dying and going to the Underworld part. It was closure with Caleb. She needed that. I was hoping she would get to see her mom. Where the heck is her dad though? He up and disappeared without a trace. Just wondering when we'll get to meet him. The clerk in the store cracked me up, along with Apollo. He likes to freak them out by poofing in and out with his godly eyes. He's so awesome. Deacon and Luke, so sweet! LOL As always there are plenty sarcastic and funny remarks to keep you rolling.

Wow! I think The Covenant series just keeps getting better and better! Deity is my favorite so far!

There is something distinctly addictive about Jennifer L. Armentrout’s books and Deity is no exception. Like everything else I have read by this author, Deity took me on one exhilarating roller-coaster of a ride, leaving me in emotional turmoil by the end. In short, I cherished every minute of it.

Like everything else I have read by this author, Deity took me on one exhilarating roller-coaster of a ride, leaving me in emotional turmoil by the end. In short, I cherished every minute of it.

Following on from Pure, the second novel in the Covenant series, the story resumes at a slower pace from where it left off. Alex is understandably on edge after the chaos that unravelled at the Catskills. Her fear of the Council discovering the truth about that night is churned by her concern for Aiden. To add to her worries, Alex’s eighteenth birthday is drawing closer, and along with it, the day of her Awakening. As the book progresses, things only get more complicated for our heroine. A long-forgotten Order is determined to eradicate her and the division between Halfs and Pures causes a flurry like never before. Soon, it becomes apparent that trust is a fragile thing… Things aren’t quite as black and white as they might appear.

This story packs a punch, maybe even a more so than Half-Blood and Pure. Although the prime reason for my investment in this series has been because of the characters (and that much still remains true), I really appreciated the direction of the plot line in this instalment. Admittedly, the beginning lacked a little flavour, but things quickly picked up pace. The complexity is not too great that we’re left flicking back and forth, but adequate enough to pique curiosity and excitement. The last third or so of the book was especially impressive. I loved how vividly and creatively Jennifer L. Armentrout entwined mythology into the plot, bringing it alive during the climax.

Like I mentioned, the characters have always been the pulling factor for me and I was very eager to see how a certain love triangle developed. Of course, in an ideal world, love triangles would be non-existent, but I’ve learnt to somewhat grudgingly accept the situation in the Covenant books. We have Seth, the self-assured and gorgeous Apollyon, and we have Aiden, the forbidden love interest. As frustrating as it has been to see Alex waver between the two boys, I am finally over the moon with the way things have turned out.

Alex was just as entertaining in this book as she has been previously. Her trademark sarcasm and wit is ever-present and we also get glimpses into the more vulnerable sides of her. It’s interesting to see how people change when they suddenly have everything to lose. Alex wouldn’t be Alex if she didn’t make one or two reckless choices (and that much I was prepared for) but it has never been to the point of stupidity. She is intelligent and likeable, and flawed in ways which only enhance her character.

After the heart-stopping ending of Deity, I will be counting down the days until the release of the fourth book. I sense Jennifer L. Armentrout has a lot more to throw at us, and until then, I will be waiting in anticipation.

Deity....Oh my god....It's officially my favourite read of 2012! It's just phenomenal! I'm in shock, I'm amazed and I'm in awe by Jennifer's work. And can she find out the answers to her questions?

I just knew I'd love this book and Jennifer really doesn't disappoint! Deity is full of engaging scenes, driven by emotion and full of love. It's not without it's dangerous and hard scenes but still, love drives this story and it's definitely not an unforgettable one.

The characters are just as fantastic as ever. I'm so excited for you guys to read this book so you can see what I mean but Alex if anything, becomes so much more lovable. I didn't even think that was possible but she does. You're heart breaks for her as she struggles to come to terms with what she has facing ahead of her and the torment she is put through is unbelievable. This girl doesn't get it easy and I'm also sacred for her for the next book. Now Seth, he becomes a character that you're either going to love or hate and while I liked him in previous books, I absolutely hate him now. I won't go into more details about him but yeah, not my favourite guy right now. And Aiden, oh my god...can this guy get any more swoon-worthy? Well the answer is YES HE CAN! I'm in awe of Aiden. He's everything you want from a guy, lovable, funny, gorgeous and caring. The way he feels for Alex pours out of his soul and we see a completely different guy this time around. I never want to lose this Aiden and I'm eager to see what comes next.

His lips met mine, and like all the times before there was indefinable spark that coursed through us. He made a sound against my lips, kissing me harder and harder. He pulled back just enough so that his lips brushed mine when he spoke. "I can't keep pretending that I don't want this - that I don't want you. I can't."

All in all, Jennifer L. Armentrout has captured, compelled and amazed me with her spellbinding and magical work. Deity will be a favourite of mine for a long long time and I can not wait to see what comes next.

Every time I read a Jennifer L. Armentrout novel, I always become so absorbed and invested in the story. I feel like with each new book her stories keep getting more and more awesome and exciting! The third book in the Covenant series, Deity, is no exception, and it is by far my favorite out of all the books and novellas I've read by JLA. It was that good!

Since finishing, my emotions for Deity have been all over the place. Part of me is ecstatic, the other part is terrified. I don't know if I want to pass out and melt over some of the things that happened in this book... Or freak the hell out over some of the other things that happened. As I had hoped in my review for Pure, there were plenty of answers and revelations in Deity! Some confirmed suspicions I've had from the previous books. And some were completely unexpected and shocking. It felt non-stop, and all of it left me stunned and amazed.

I'm very impressed with how much Alex has grown and matured. She is such a wonderful character! Although her decisions might not always make everyone happy, I admire her for following her heart and doing what she feels is right. She is such a compassionate person and is just trying to do her best with what she has. I really feel for her because she has already gone through so much. It's pretty heartbreaking when all you want is happiness for the character, knowing there's still more they'll have to overcome. But I believe in Alex and know with her determination and strength and the support from other characters she'll make it through.

One of the major events in the book occurred at the end. I can't tell you what happened because obviously it would be a spoiler (and trust me, you do NOT want to be spoiled about anything). However, I will say that Deity ends with a cliffhanger, and it was...insane! This is what I thought when I finished: 'Shit just got real!' I didn't see it coming. But it pretty much explains everything that has helped lead up to that moment. There are times where I wonder if I'm freaking out about it way too much, and then I realize I can't help it with all the theories going through my mind. Besides, cliffhangers usually cause that type of reaction, so I'm going to continue biting my nails nervously and try to figure out what happens while I wait for the release of the next book.

I have to mention the romance before ending this review, since it plays a big role in the series and it's one of the things I looked forward to in Deity. The romance was definitely at the center of some of my favorite parts in the book. I don't like to sound cheesy, but honestly, I teared up at some moments because the romance was really really beautiful and passionate. My heart was close to bursting! And I do feel like I understand the love-triangle a lot more. I had already liked all the characters involved; Deity just made me appreciate them even more. There are huge surprises, and I understand why the things that occurred ended up happening. I'm dying to know how it will all work out because even without the romance, I really just want Alex, Aiden, and Seth to be happy by the end of the series. They all deserve it.

Deity was a stunning and heart-pounding installment in the Covenant series. It is the best and easily my favorite in the series so far. I have no idea how Jennifer L. Armentrout will top this book in Apollyon and Sentinel. All I know is that those last books are going to be completely epic and awesome too! And thankfully Aiden's novella Elixir will be released before then, and I'll be able to get my much needed JLA and Covenant fix. I cannot wait!(less)

This will be a moderately short review because there really isn't much to write about. With Pure and Deity (and Opal), Armentrout restored my faith in her and and turned me into an addict. I have now grudgingly joined hordes of fans who eagerly await her every release.

It’s not all roses and rainbows, though. I think what's stopping this series from truly becoming one of my favorites is that, thanks to the Half-Blood debacle, I can't stop comparing it to Vampire Academy. Even though Alex is now a heroine in her own right, a part of me still sees her as a pale copy of Rose Hathaway. The same goes for Aiden – as amazing as he is (and trust me, he is one amazing guy), I can't help but compare him to Dimitri on occasion, and of course he loses every time. That is the consequence of Armentrout's initial plagiarism. Although she found a different path for her characters (and hopefully for herself), all those connections my mind made at the beginning simply refuse to go away.

Although reluctantly, I feel that I must also mention a series of editing issues I’ve come across in Deity. Awkward, clumsy sentences and incorrect word order are just some of the things a more careful reader will surely notice. This could have easily been avoided which is why it upset me so much.

But I didn’t set out to write a negative review. Deity set a new course for this series, an expected one perhaps, but a new and satisfying direction nonetheless. Aside from the horrendous cliffhanger, I have no objections whatsoever. With Deity, Armentrout gave me exactly what I’ve learned to expect from her. As for the said cliffhanger, I’ve been told that Elixir, a novella from Aiden’s point of view, really takes the edge off and I’m looking forward to it.

Without revealing too much, I'll try to ease the minds of those who are like me: the (in)famous love triangle finally gets resolved in this book, or at least Alex sees things for what they really are. If you’re anything like me, you were severely annoyed by the Aiden-Alex-Seth mess in the second book, but rest assured, it does get better.

That simple act stole my breath, my heart. But even as he pulled away, I realized that he couldn't steal something he already had.

At this point, I'd say I'm enjoying this series despite myself. It is extremely addictive and fun, but at the same time, I can't forget how it started. Perhaps with Apollyon, Armentrout will break those last stubborn connections and make me look at this series differently. Either way, I'm looking forward to it.

Oh. My. Gods. There are no words to explain just how phenomenal this book is. I was so excited when I received this for review from Spencer Hill Press. Yes I danced around the house when it got here. Naturally I thought this book would be fantastic. I was just not expecting it to be that good. I have always said that Obsidian is my favourite book and I preffered the Lux series to Covenant. I can no longer say that because Deity is just phenomenal and heart-stopping. Without a doubt the best damn book I have ever read.

Alex's 18th birthday is fast approaching. Alex dreads Awakening and doesn't know what it going to happen to her. Will she still be Alex or will she change? Torn between Aiden, the boy she loves but can't have and Seth, the cold Apollyon who can't wait for her to awaken, Alex must decide between them. Which can she trust? And can they figure everything out in a race against time when the inevitable is fast approaching?

I seriously cannot put my feelings about this book into words. All I want to say is 'Oh. My. Gods just read this series right now.' Deity proves my view that Jennifer is without a doubt a goddess. She is just a phenomenal writer and she could write about anything. ANYTHING. And I would still love it. She is the most amazing writer I have ever read in my life and nobody can quite compare to her books. I could very easily just read Jennifer's books and nothing else forever over and over again and would be completely happy about that. She is just the best author in the world and if you haven't read any of her books yet then you need to. Right Now!

This is positively the hardest review I have ever had to write. I am one of those readers who really hates reviews that give spoilers so I never write them. It is so damn hard to write a spoiler-free review for this book. It's actually impossible to talk about this book without giving something away as it just goes from one shocking moment to another . I was just completely speechless throughout the entire book. Pure left us reeling and if you are anything like me you have spent the months since reading Pure with lots of conspiracies and theories of what will happen next spinning around your head. Well Deity will answer a lot of your questions. But it will also leave you breathless and with more questions. I swear at one point in this book I think my heart literally stopped.

I won't go into what I love about each character, everyone knows I am an Aiden girl, because he is just perfect and I love him. I thought I loved him in the first two books, they are nothing for how I feel about Aiden after Deity. I am completely and uttery head-over-heels in love with him. I have never swooned so much or loved a fictional character as much as I do with Aiden. Yes I'll mention the 'other guy'. At the end of Pure I never really trusted Seth or liked him at all for that matter. There's just something about him I don't like or trust. My opinion of him has not changed in the slightest. I won't say much more as I get so passionate when talking about this series I'll end up giving something major away and they you'll all hate me.

The last 100 pages in this book were heart-breaking. I was freaking out for all of them. I wanted someone to hold my hand and tell me everything was going to work out okay. I was hyperventilating by the end. I was so worried about the ending of Deity. If you think the ending of Pure is a cliffhanger, you have seen nothing yet. Jennifer is officially the queen of cliffhangers. The ending of Deity is a killer and had me in hysterics! I need Aiden's novella right now! If Deity is anything to go by Jennifer will have gave me a heart-attack by the time this series has ended.

Without a doubt the best book I have ever read. It was without a doubt the most phenomenal book I have ever read in my life. Deity is a heart-stopping and jaw-dropping chapter in the phenomenal Covenant series. I was sat on the edge of my seat, holding my breath waiting to see what was going to happen and dreading it at the same time. The end will leave you hanging and reeling from the events and dying to get your hands on the next installment. No words I can ever say will quite do justice to this book. Covenant is a series that is not to be missed! With breath-taking romance and heart-stopping action this is a must-read for everybody!

Ok so before reading this I hoped Alex would wake-up and choose to be with Seth.

Now I'm probably insane but that hasn't changed what so ever.

Now before all you Aiden fans attack me, I know Seth is a bit screwed up right now and has become an enraged murderer, a little toy for Lucian to take over the world with.

BUT IS THAT REALLY HIM? No. He's got a fucked up past and only wants to be loved. Lucian's manipulating him and it makes me sick. I'm not giving up on him when he needs Alex and everyon...more Ok so before reading this I hoped Alex would wake-up and choose to be with Seth.

I believe he can be saved. So many have given up on him already it makes me so sad.
I want Alex to save him and fall for him in the process. :)

Now the book. It is not my favourite book of the series by far. I mean Seth was finally gaining some ground on the Seth and Alex romance when she turns him into a psycho. No. But I do like where the stories leading and the fact that the true goss have finally made an appearance.
This book starts right where Pure left off and finished with Alex's awakening. And my gods the cliffhanger at the end will leave you shaking and craving for the next book like a Daimon shaking and craving for their next fix of aether.

If your Aiden fans stop reading now.
However for all you Seth fans these are Seth and Alex's best scenes in this book.

1.
“Seth’s body tensed. “Good gods…”
And then I felt it—akasha—shifting through the cords, leaving me and entering Seth. It was kind of like a daimon tag, but not painful. No… this was nice, heady. I stopped struggling, letting the glorious tug and pull lift me away. I didn’t think about anything. There were no concerns or fears. The pain in my hand melted away, leaving only a dull ache that was spreading elsewhere. There was just this… and Seth. My eyes drifted shut and a sigh leaked out. Why had I been so afraid of this?
There was a flash of light that I could still see even though my eyes were closed. Seth dropped my hand and it fell limply to my side. The bed dipped beside my head from where he placed his hands. I felt his breath on my cheek, and it felt like warm, salty air rolling off the ocean.
“Alex?”
“Hmm…?”
“You okay?” He placed his lips to my cheek.
I smiled.
Seth chuckled, and then his mouth was making its way to mine, and I opened for him. The edges of his hair tickled my cheeks as the kiss deepened. His fingers drifted down the front of my blouse and then they were sliding over the bare skin of my stomach. I wrapped my leg around his, and we were moving together on the bed. His lips were dancing all over my flushed skin as his hands slid down, fingers finding the button on my jeans.
A second later, there was a knock on my door and a booming voice. “Alexandria?”
Seth stilled above me, panting. “You have got to be freaking kidding me.”
Leon knocked again. “Alexandria, I know you’re in there.”
Dazed, I blinked several times. The room slowly came back into focus, as did Seth’s disgruntled expression. I almost laughed, except I felt… off.”

“I flushed as I put my hands on his chest, stopping him from overcoming that last inch or two that separated us. “People “change,” I said lamely.
“Some people do.” He placed his arm beside my head, supporting himself.
The cord was really starting to go crazy, demanding that I pay attention to it. My toes curled. “Did you come here to talk about the rules I’ve broken or what?”
“No. I actually had a reason for coming.”
“And that is?” I shifted uncomfortably, trying to ignore the way my skin, especially the palms of my hands, started to tingle. Thank the gods he had a shirt on.
“Give me a second.”
I frowned. “Why do—”
Seth dipped his head, brushing his lips over mine, and being caught between wanting to clamp my mouth shut and wanting to open for him was a frustrating feeling. I ached to be near him as equally as I did to be away from him.
“That’s… that’s why you came here?” I asked when he lifted his head.
“It wasn’t the main reason.”
“Then why are you—” His mouth cut my words off, and the kiss deepened, stealing my protests. The cord tightened as his hand slipped down my arm, over my stomach and under the hem of my shirt.
He smiled against my lips.

“But why do you have to go?”
“I don’t know, Alex. Can we talk about this later?” He looked down at me, eyes glowing. “There are other things I want to do.”
The cord buzzed its approval. “But—”
Seth kissed me again and the hand against my stomach pressed down. I let go of his wrist, intending on pushing him off, but then I was gripping his shirt. The air around us seemed to crackle. There was something building inside me, a warning that the damn bond was up to no good.
I felt the cord rushing to the surface before I actually opened my eyes. Amber and blue lights cast strange shadows across the wall of my bedroom. I was transfixed by them for a moment. It was so bizarre that we were responsible for them. That they even came from within us.”

“It freaked me out a little.
But Seth’s free hand was everywhere, skimming down my arm, over my leg, and our cords were spiraling together, connecting us. My fingers clenched his shirt and I was pulling him down.

“He dropped his shoes and swept his arms around me. “You drive me crazy.”
“I know.” I smiled. “The feeling is mutual.”
He laughed and then brushed his lips over my forehead. “Come on.” He started pulling me back to the bed.
I stalled a little. Not hurting his feelings did not equal me ending up with a mark on the back of my neck.
Seth dropped down, tugging me forward. “To sleep, Alex. Nothing more… unless…” His gaze dropped to my tank top. “You know, you should wear that more often. It leaves very little to the imagination, which is something I like.”
Flushing to the roots of my hair, I quickly climbed over him and pulled the covers up to my chin. Seth laughed as he lay down. He threw an arm around my waist, snuggling close. His breathing was steady. Nothing like mine, which seemed to be racing my heartbeat. And he was smiling easily, as if we hadn’t just argued.
“You’re such a perv,” I said for the hundredth time.
“You’ve called me worse.”
And I had a feeling I probably would in the future, too.”

And finally-5.

“The First—my whole purpose for existing. Mine. My other half. He was here, waiting. Already inside me, seeing what I was seeing, whispering to me, promising me that he was coming. Seth. Mine.”

WOW, JLA you never cease to amaze me with your awesomeness. I am so completely drained from this book. I am sick to my stomach and seriously am scared shitless for what's to come in Apollyon. But holy hell....that was freakin badass!

I am too tired and exhausted to write this review since my brain has been shut off. So I will stop here and leave you with...

I just finished Deity again for the 100th time and my copy is looking pretty beat up (we NEED these in hard covers!!!)...

Deity is The Book of 2012, thus far, and I do not say this lightly! I am a huge Armentrout fan and I started with the Lux series because at the time my friend Kay said start with that one and Kay hasimpeccabletaste so I did. I have allot of love and time invested in that series and would have said I liked it just a little bit more than the covenant series... But... Holy Daimo...more

OH.MY.GODS !!! Who ends a book like that??? I have no words... really!! Well maybe I do...

How in HOLY HADES am I suppose to wait for the next installment!?! My ass hurts from that cliffhanger fall. Feels like it was kicked by a daimon. GAH!

Oh and SETH!!!! WTH! Team Aiden is wracking up the points. Come on!

I can't wait to review this book in October because I have a LOT to say. But for now... Best yet by JLA. Loved it!!

First and foremost, I appreciate the fact that this series has finally found its own path and that it can now step out of Vampire Academy's shadow. Deity is fast-paced, engaging and full of plot twists.

I LOVE Aiden more and more. He's so sweet and caring and supportive ~~and why the hell guys like him don't exist in real life??~~.

Anyway, I like Alex and Aiden's relationship, and I'm glad that she is so sure about her feelings and knows what she wants. I hope this means n...more

vado molto veloce, che tanto scriverò presto una recensione completa sul DIAVS (we're back guys!). è inutile dirlo ormai, i libri della Armentrout sono sempre bellissimi, e ti lasciano con il fiato sospeso per tutto il libro e compagnia varia.
Deity è il libro della saga di Covenant che mi è piaciuto meno e in certi punti anche di più.

vado molto veloce, che tanto scriverò presto una recensione completa sul DIAVS (we're back guys!). è inutile dirlo ormai, i libri della Armentrout sono sempre bellissimi, e ti lasciano con il fiato sospeso per tutto il libro e compagnia varia.
Deity è il libro della saga di Covenant che mi è piaciuto meno e in certi punti anche di più.
Parto dal positivo, miglior libro per Aiden, dopo Pure dove avrebbe meritato una serie di sprangate in testa continuative, in Deity mi ha fatto ri-innamorare del ragazzo che avevamo intravisto in Half-blood, ogni volta che ha pronunciato le parole "agapi mou" sono morta un po' di più. Ma anche Aiden Sentinella orgogliosa, piena di doveri è stato rivalutato. (e non dimentichiamoci il rapporto Aiden-Deacon, che amo follemente). Altro aspetto positivo? I personaggi minori che scopriamo mano mano di più. Adoro il fatto che non vengano introdotti personaggi nuovi (tranne Solos, che però non si è ancora fatto conoscere, ma che mi ispira un sacco v.v) ma la Armentrout mantiene i vecchi lasciandoci scoprire sempre un po' di loro che non ci saremmo mai aspettato, e tra le storie impossibili di Deacon, Lea che è sempre più fragile, una certa Sentinella che ha identità nascoste molto sorprendenti (e che ho amato) ci innamoreremo di tutti oltre ad Alex.

Quello che non mi è piaciuto è che questo libro mi ha lasciato un po' di amaro in bocca, non avevo la solita voglia di tornare a casa e leggere leggere leggere, è un ottimo libro, valido e tra i migliori nel genere ma so di certo che può uscire di meglio dalle mani della Armentrout. La trama viene totalmente salvata dal finale così come il personaggio di Alex.

Apollyon è vicino e mi aspetto grandi cose, tra cui: non toccare per un po' la situazione romance, altrimenti altro che "beautiful" guys, e spero tanto in una rivalutazione dell'immagine di Seth, è sempre stato uno dei miei personaggi preferiti e spero che riesca a ritrovare la retta via.

numero 1: non doveva uscire ad ottobre?. perchè ora ottobre è diventato novembre? 3 MESI?. good god, this is impossible.
btw, dalla trama ho un sospetto, se esce fuori che quello che "has lied from the beginning" è Seth faccio una strage, cioè è abbastanza ovvio che sia lui, non dicendole magari che al diciottesimo compleanno le succhi via tutta l'energia e blah blah blah, ma se è lui ci rimango malissimo c.c, posso accettare un happy ending con Aiden perchè il mio amore per Aiden è sconfinato, (agapi c.c)però Seth cattivo o boh c.c mi sconvolge. Sì mi sto facendo un film mentale e sì sto parlando a vanvera, quindi buonanotte a tutti.
Ci vediamo tra tre mesi. Passo e chiudo. (less)

I was glad to see Alex's character developed vastly in this book. Her being reckless and taking actions without thinking was one of her distinctive character trait that although annoyed me most times, is probably also the most appealing thing about her. In this book though Alex seems to have learned to think first and tried to consider things before deciding and taking any actions. She matured in a lot of ways through all the things that had happened and she experienced from the previous books and in this one. But one thing I'm most happy about was when she finally become completely honest with her feelings and chose who she really loved.

Aiden, oh boy, I don't even know where to start with this guy! He had me melting in a puddle of goo almost every freaking time. The dedication, the patience, the loyalty and the undying love of this guy to Alex are just very impressive and absolutely amazing. He isn't flawless but with all those thing he'd done for Alex he could be all be nothing but perfect. And the moments with the two? Wonderful. Just wonderful. The love and care were practically oozing out of the pages.

As for the plot, it was just incredible! So many things happened and almost all of them left me in total surprise. Some had me confused and frustrated but others just made me thrilled and excited. Secrets and intentions were revealed and although some complicate things it also made the story even more interesting and fantastic.

Overall, I am absolutely satisfied and happy with this book. I loved how things went although the ending left me a bit in disarray. Still, the things that happened and took place in this book were great and served a lot for the credibility of the story and to developed and enhance the world Armentrout created remarkably. The characters are one hell of an awesome set, from the main characters, supporting and even the villains! If you haven't started this series yet I recommend you start it now! You're missing a lot.

My heart's collapse in 3... 2... 1...

This book was just... just everything. It made me cry and it made me happy, it made me laugh and made me hurt. Was just so perfect.
Sure, that ending... god, you want me dead. Seriously, it devastated me. Now am I supposed to wait until April? How?

And... I mean, I was team Seth okay? Team Seth, got it? How do you expect me to be after all of that? You're cruel, Jennifer. You took my heart and played basebal...more

update after read: Good lord, this is not happening, is it ? Nooooooooo! Seth, behave! I knew it was going to be like that, always opposite. I'm so conflicted right now... Well for now, hope it is.
So, without further ado, of course, book is great! It’s heart-stopping, mind-blowing, exciting and unputdownable and will stay with you long after you have finished the last page...
