Wtf Really????????? I truly just don't know what to think of this series.... This was the last book in the Nightwalker series, and I have one question for Jacquelyn Frank. Why? Why are almost all of your heroines cowards? OMG love is so scary! I can't love you, I have been hurt! No I refuse you, I don't care if you are my soul mate I am to scared to even think of trying so I will run.. Bla Bla Bla! I just don't understand it and quite frankly it drov ...more

Book Review - I actually REALLY liked this book. The beginning was extremely depressing and left me screaming WTF, but once I could figure out the gist of the story I was more than happy to keep going. There is lots of action and emotion. I love Jasmine's witt. Th ...more
PS: Re: That shocker of a beginning: I had total faith. Knew it would all be fixed.
The prologue is 2008- Jacob and Bella are fighting Ruth and her lover Nicodemus, this prologue will rip apart the foundations of this series, of this world Jacquelyn Frank built. You will not believe it at first, thinking instead it’s a weird twist, or cruel trick, but it’s real. And it sucks.
Fast forward 10 years later, and we see Leah, Jacob and Bella’s daughter, as an isolated teen. While this may be Jasmine and Adam’s book, we actually get a lot of Le ...more
Now this wasn't my favorite book in the series but it did actually come pretty close. Adam is the oldest brother to Jacob and Kane. A long ago, Adam disappeared from not only his home but from his job as Enforcer. Jacob searched for him but found no trace of him. Finally Adam myste ...more
The extremely bold beginning of this installment alone was enough to make it the best entry of the series for me. I was stunned (in a very good way) at the audacity of character and storyline shakeup and excited about how it would play out for the remainder of the read. The great follow-through from the opening events made this an emotional read, that capitalized on both the events and the consequences as Leah came into her power and played such a pivotal role.

Adam is book 6 in Jacquelyn Frank’s Nightwalker series and it was such a sweet surprise because I had been under the impression that the series had ended with Noah’s book, three years ago. I really enjoyed the world that Ms. Frank created in her Nightwalker series and because I couldn’t remember Adam at all, I was even more intrigued.
The story begins with a prologue in the year 2008. We revisit most of the characters from previous books and get a quick up ...more

*Very light spoilers for the book…it would be nearly impossible to review this book spoiler-free!*
It’s been 3 long years since the last book in the Nightwalkers series came out, Noah, so to say I was eagerly anticipating this newest release, Adam, is an understatement. The epilogue had me ready to throw the book out the window – an HEA for one past couple is ripped away in the first few pages and once I calmed down enough to think about ...more

Quick & Dirty: Thrilling, mysterious and sexy paranormal romance with some time travel and a whole lotta arse kickin.

Okay, so apparently this reviewer is even more out of certain loops than was previously expected. Looking through Goodreads, I just found out that Noah, the book before Adam, was supposed to have been the last of this series. *GASP* Well, I for one am glad that Ms. Frank decided to dust ...more
While this wasn't my favorite book in the series -- mainly because I am a sucker for Noah -- it still had the magic the readers come to expect from the Nightwalker world. Adam is the oldest brother to Jacob and Kane. Long ago, Adam disappeared from not o ...more
"Adam" was the trickiest of the series. And also the most thought provoking if you sit down to ponder the ideas brought up. I realize, of course, that this is a work of fiction and that most likely, we will never experience time travel but its STILL fun to think about and its fun to ...more

I have to say, as much as I liked Jasmine’s character throughout this series, I really couldn’t see much of a story with her. So when I found out this book was about her, I was both excited but wary at the same time. I really had nothing to worry about.
Right off the bat, I went through a range of emotions from being pissed off at the author to being happy again. Then I became slightly bored, but only slightly. All of it was necessary to ...more
Turn page, turn page, gasp in shock, turn page, look at cover to make sure I was reading the right book, turn page, gasp, stare unbelieving at my husband like he could somehow fix it, turn page, turn page, and repeat.

I cried.. yep. 25 pages in and I was crying. I haven't cried from a book since Dumbledore kicked the bucket in the Harry Pooper series.
Jacquelyn Frank has a way with conveying emotions through words. I thought the beginning to her story was unique and very emotional. It made me hurt to see how our favorite Demon's lives had turned out. I cried for Leah.
Frank is clever at creating worlds that are unique. I read all of her books but nothing has the impact like her Nightwalkers series. ...more
I was shocked when I read the prologue and was immediately pissed. Damn Ruth and her ruthlessness. Jacob was the first demon I fell in love with and when Ruth and Nico went after him, Bella and Leah I was devastated. I kept saying no, no, no...

Let me explain-
I didn't like Noah. I didn't like Ecstacy, either. Two of the books I recently read written by her. I have a problem with Jacquelyn Frank's frequent use of words such as "fate" or "destiny" and the Imprinting in her books are mating-bonds, destined to be. You see?
And this is why I can't give it a better rating, but I liked this novel far more than some of it's prequels. Leah's and Corinne's POV were very entertaining/intense ...more
