I found this on my Kindle recommedation page and I have to say I did really enjoy it.
BUT....I did not like the character of Luke.
Flora was very likeable and relatable and so were her friends P.J and Louise. However none of the male characters were very likeable.
Luke started off promising but ended up a bit of a jerk I felt, and if I was Flora I would have been a bit annoyed at the ending and how he came back etc. (Can't say too much without giving anything away).
However I did find the overal...more

LA Dale has a done it again with her second novel, Perhaps...Perhaps. We follow the life of neurotic Flora (Flower) through some unprecedented changes in her life, which are all very difficult for her to take on board as her life is very 'normal' and mundane as well as extremely ordered. Poor Flora couldn't cope with anything else but extreme order with her OCD tendencies! All this is about to change, her life is about to be turned upside down when Luke enters her life.

I enjoyed watching Flora grow from a push-over and wallflower to an independent woman willing to speak her mind. I thought Luke was more than a little swarmy and that he needed to start thinking for himself. I'm glad everything worked out in the end. Good read, would probably reread down the road.
Reading 'Perhaps .... Perhaps' is like sipping a crisp, dry Chablis on a warm summer's day, and reading the whole book is like downing the whole bottle, which is just fine by me.
So this is how you should read 'Perhaps .... Perhaps', a glass of white wine in one hand and LA Dale (so to speak) in the other - a perfect combination.

I saw this book on the kindle recommending page and thought, 'why not'. I did not like Luke in the beginning but I began to understand him later on in the book. I liked Flora as you see her development throughout the book. A good read.
A silly, no mind romance. Sit-com characters, cliched story line - really, this simple romp shoulda coulda been so much better.
Very cheesy...but what can you expect for $0.99!!!
I have to agree with my fellow readers... Luke was hot and cold! However the female protaganist flora was amazing and true to herself!
Fun, easy read. Sometimes you just need those.
