This was a funny and cute book. I'm such a huge fan of Liz Fielding because of her sweet, funny, lively dialogue and descriptions. I laughed out loud all through the beginning of this book. Ginny, the heroine, is wonderful. She's more than meets the eye (which, normally, would be mousy with dowdy clothes and huge glasses she hides behind), and you can't help but root for her. Rich, the hero, is sexay and just plain fabulous. The story is completely unrealistic, as per the norm with these Harlequ ...more

This is officially My Favorite Harlequin of All Time. I have never giggled my way through an entire romance before. Usually the humor starts falling flat somewhere in the middle, and by the end it's so overly contrived you're rolling your eyes waiting for it to be over.

What Liz Fielding did with Hector in this book qualifies as genius. It shouldn't have worked; it certainly shouldn't have worked all the way through the novel. But it did, and I never stopped laughing. The characters were lovable

I loved the way this book started and that feeling kept up all the way to the ending. Liz Fielding writes with a great combination of depth, humor and romance. Each meeting between Ginny and Rich left me giggling. While the storyline is a bit far-fetched, it was a totally fun and escapist story that is just what you need after a long day at work. Perfect length for a single-evening read.
