Col. Morgan does a great job telling his story. From his early life, living at the Builtmore estates in NC to basic to being the first B-17 pilot to bring his crew home after 25 missions.

The writing in this book is excellent, you really feel like you're in the cockpit with the pilot. This goes beyond the typical memoir.

People who like WWII stuff
The author is cocky. But I guess if I had flown 25 dangerous missions in a B-17 during World War II, I would be cocky too.
