Angel's Wolf : 4.75 Stars.

From 4 stories in this book, I loved Angel's Wolf the most. It was beautiful and full of intense emotions. Noel and Nimra are wonderful together.

Angels' Judgement : 4.5 Stars.

Sexy. Sizzling. Action-packed.
This was a story of Sara, a Guild Hunter, and Deacon, the slayer. For the readers who have been curious about how these two met and how Sara has become the America Guild Director, you will find the answers here.

I’ve read plenty of short stories and now after reading Singh’s novella, Angels’ Pawn has become of my favourites.

This time we get a closer look at Ashwini, Elena’s Guild Hunter colleague. Ash possesses similar characteristics as Elena – She’s smart, tough, and can kick some serious ass. But she also has her own Guild Hunter “talent”, or a curse, in her opinion. She can hear the thoughts and emotions of others through a single touch. A talent that is unique, but debilitat

I really enjoyed these four short stories that provided a little history into some great characters and showed time periods outside of our main storyline.

This is the first time I completely adored an anthology as much as I usually do a book. So far anthologies had been a mere entertainment for me, never a read to recommend. I guess there's always a first time for everything. I SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK to all NS fans. This is a must read for those who have read the Guild Hunter's series. In this book you will find 4 short stories, 4 compelling , fascinating and remarkable reads.

I loved the anthology, but since I read 3 of the 4 stories a while ago, I'll only be reviewing Angels' Dance.

I am a huge fan of Nalini Singh and her writing-in any shape or form. I was really looking forward to reading Jessamy and Galen's story, and though at first I was underwhelmed, I ended up liking it a lot.

This anthology features a collection of short stories in the Guild Hunter world. Three have been previously published. The last is new.

Angels' Pawn - Throughout the first three Guild Hunter novels, we get little teasers about the hunter Ashwini and her constant foil, the sexy Cajun vampire Janvier. But in this short story, we get to see the two of them in action. Though Ash is usually hunting Janvier, here they are working together to bring in a vampire at the center of a power struggle. I loved Jessamy and Galen’s story, Angels’ Dance! It’s the clear winner here and a definite treat for Guild Hunter fans that makes the Angels' Flight anthology worthwhile.

Angela (Angel's Guilty Pleasures)

Loved this book full of novellas in the Guild Hunter world. Each story was a treat. Fans will love getting the fist glimpses into characters who have come to mean a lot and those who haven’t started the series get a taste of the world; before it became something altogether different.

Angel's Flight is an anthology containing four novellas set in the Guild Hunter world, each features a different couple and is set at a different point in the series timeline. Angels' Dance, Angels' Judgment and Angels' Pawn are all set before the first book in the series (Angel's Blood) while Angel's Wolf is set between Archangel's Consort and Archangel's Blade. From Goodreads -
In Angels’ Pawn a vampire hunter faces off against two rival factions and the angel manipulating them both, and a vampire whose help is not entirely selfless…

Angel’s Wolf - Raphael sent Noel to Nimra to flush out a person who is trying to kill her. If you've read Archangel's Kiss, you know how Noel got his injuries. Nimra is fascinating, but sort of weak until you find out her real talent.

Angels’ Judgment is Sara and Daecon's story. Someone is killing vampires and it seems it is one of the hunters. I had read this one before I read anything else from this series. It is a good introduction to the series and a great story on its own.

Angels' Pawn - Ash
It was nice getting to see a glimpse of the Guild Hunter world from the sidelines. There were enough details about Raphael and Elena to perk my interest in reading their stories again, but I also got a deeper look at a few characters I have wondered about for a while. Namely, Jessamy/Galen and Ashwini/Janvier. Though I didn't love every story in this collection, I never out and out disliked any of them. And it whet my appetite for more from this series.

This short story is a prequel to the Guild Hunter Series. This is not my first book of the series that I have read. It is actually the third. I have read Angel’s Blood and Angel’s Kiss and enjoyed them very much. Against all my beliefs to read in order, I, for some reason failed to start with this one. *shrugs*

I’m a huge fan of Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter series, but I hadn’t read any short stories that went along with the series, so this entire book was a new read for me – and I enjoyed it quite a bit. There was one stand out story, but here’s a small recap on all four:

Angel’s Pawn

A little teaser story about Ashwini and Janvier. Ashwini is a vampire hunter for the Guild, Janvier a vampire and they work a small case together in ANGEL’S PAWN. I like Ashwini, she

Angels Flight is an anthology that is considered to be part of Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series. This collection of stories takes place in an alternate world where angels, vampires, and humans live alongside one another with angels being the rulers. Each novella takes place at a different time within the series, but they can all be read as stand-alones. Nalini Singh is an expert at figuring out what stories work for shorter page lengths and that is evident in this anth

Angels' Pawn

Ashwini and Janvier's story. The plot was fairly enjoyable - Ashwini has to retrieve a vampire that's been kidnapped, she asks for Janvier's help, naturally they banter, flirt and fight bad guys. Ashwini was a decent character but her tragic past kind of annoyed me — it seems like every one of Singh's heroes and heroines have been through some sort of ridiculously traumatic event. It just gives the impression that the only way Singh can add depth to her characters

This is the first story I've read in the series. I'm trying to read it in chronological order; not by the order of the book release.
Angel's Dance is a warm and sweet read for me. Even though it's just a novella, I didn't find it lacking unlike some novellas i've read before. It's a feel good love story devoid of the ugly twists and evil antag
I'm not a short story or novella person, so automatically I was like, "OH boo" when this showed up on my kindle. Thankfully these nuggets were yummy enough for me not to regret the purchase, particularly because I love the Guild Hunter series so much (Raphael and Elena forever!)

I won't spoil anything, but just briefly overview each of the four novellas. Angels’ Pawn feels like a pretty truncated story, it feels like the first third of the whole novel of these two characters, so it's the one I li
My favorite in this collection of short stories is Angel's Dance, the story of Jessamy and Galen. When I first read about them in Archangel's Kiss, I knew there was a great love story there. There is. It's actually a far better love story than the one between Elena and Archangel Raphael. They're actually now my favorite couple in the Guild Hunter series. This review will only be for Angels' Dance as I have read all the others and reviewed them separately.

This is the story of Galen and Jessamy that started four hundred years ago when Galen first comes to the Refuge and is trying to be weapons master for Raphael. Jessamy is the teacher and historian there.

I wish this story would have been out before the other Guild Hunter books because Galen is a heck of a lot more interesting NOW! I've always liked the Seven but Galen just never really stuck ou
Review for 'Angel's Dance' only:

Wow, I hadn't taken much notice of Galen and Jessamy before, but this short story is so incredibly touching and sweet, they are now one of my favorite 'Guild Hunter' couples.

Jessamy is an angel of old, and subtly commands respect among her angelic peers due to her vaulted position as Teacher of the young and Keeper of angelic history. Yet, for all her accomplishments, she harbors a deep-seated sadness, for she was born deformed and cannot escape to the ski

Angels’ Dance: One of the best new paranormal novellas I've read in the past year (ranking up there with Silver Shark by Ilona Andrews and A Family Affair by Karen Chance). Although I liked Jessamy in the earlier Guild Hunter books, Galen was my least favorite of Raphael's Seven--so I really wasn't looking forward to this story. But Singh made me a believer--what a great read!!

The character and relationship development is well done. I loved the background this story provides, since it's set 400
