I really wanted to love this story. A sequel to any classic story is always going to have to compete with the original work and in this case, sadly, it doesn't quite live up to it.

The basic plot is pretty straight-forward: in a reversal of the original Axos storyline, now it is humans who want to exploit the potential energy that Axos can generate. A billionaire attempts to plunder the energy from Axos, which was trapped in an orbiting time loop, nearly half a century ago.
