Of course, I love this book!

The book is about so many things. First and foremost, it is fantasy and for this first book, as well as the rest of the series, I have been having such a great time creating the characters and the worlds in which they live. (I won't say too much about that because I don't want to spoil anything for the readers.) Nate and Larissa are shape-shifting fraternal twins. This book, however, is different from Harry Potter or Percy Jackson. The twins don't discover one day th...more

Interlopers was an enjoyable read I would recommend for Middle Grade, Young Adult and even Adult readers. I tend not to compare one author with another but the whole time I was reading it, I felt Interlopers was very Rick Riordan-esque, but with its own original spin. And that’s a great thing!

I really liked the main character, Nate. Even though I’m a thirty-seven year old woman, he was so relatable. He wasn’t always sure of himself, even doubted his abilities and questioned his capabilities in t...more

A Shifters Novel: Interlopers is a great read because it appeals to both girls and guys. There is action for guys to enjoy and a hint at romance for the girls to enjoy. I really liked the bond between Larissa and Nate and how they always stick together no matter what. The fact that Larissa and Nate are so close also makes the end really surprising though. I love the shifters concept and how its not the usual werewolves but instead wereleopards. I think turning into panthers is a really fresh and...more

One of the greatest compliments that I think can be given to a book is to say that it is a real page turner! "Interlopers: A Shifters Novel" was definitely a page turner! I started and finished it today. I particularly liked the story that L. M. Davis told and look forward to more of the same.
Thank you!

L. M. Davis loves great storytelling. She needs nothing more than a good book and a comfy chair to be happy. She was born in the south, raised in the north, and has a few degrees under her belt. She still hasn’t gotten her black cat, but she thinks about it everyday. Her thoughts go something like this: "I really should get a cat." For now, she contents herself with spoiling the pets of her friend...more
