This is not a book to read from beginning to end in one go. I had it on the coffee table and picked it up at random times. It is a compilation of what is called his best newspaper columns and is organised by topics. I would give a five star to some as I found them hilarious, but gave an overall three star as there were some I skipped over quickly as they didn't interest me.

A compilation of Joe's musings over the years ... some funny, some not so. I had the book on a side table in the lounge and picked it up during ad breaks on telly - each chapter conveniently sized to be read in about the same time as it takes a set of ads to play.
