Man kann von dem Vielschreiber Hohlbein halten was man mag, aber fast jeder deutsche Fantasy-Fan hat mindestens eines seiner Bücher gelesen. Die Jugendbuch-Reihe, die Wolfgang Hohlbein zusammen mit seiner Frau Heike Hohlbein verfasst hat, ist zwar wie viele seiner Bücher nach einem ewig gleichen Strickmuster geschrieben, aber zumindest als Jugendlicher war ich von den ersten Büchern begeistert. interessante Wahl der mythologie- mal was anderes
tolle Gestaltung der Welt

Today i flicked through this book again because it was my absolute favourite around 6-7 years ago.
As I know it almost by heart, I don't have to read it again and I will review it from what I remember. I read it around ten times already, I believe

I can not really explain what EXACTLY captivated me this much, but the setting of the story and the plot definetely did their part.

Als ich dieses Buch gesehen habe, dachte ich mir sofort: Das muss ich unbedingt lesen. Vor allem weil es Fantasy ist und ich liebe dieses Genre.
Zuerst fand ich es ganz gut, doch die Geschichte zog sich meiner Meinung zu sehr in die Länge, wobei das gar nicht nötig gewesen wäre.
Nach einer Zeit wurde es auch ein bisschen langweilig und finde der Schluss wurde auf die letzten beiden Kapitel recht "zusammengequetscht".

Den Schreibstil von Hohlbein fand ich trotzdem sehr gut und für jeden super verstä

a reread from my childhood. i didn't enjoy it very much. the middle part seemed to drag on forever and the conclusion wrapped up way too quickly for my taste.
