The Astral Disruptor (Sampietro Mischief #1)
by
Rhys Hughes (Goodreads Author)
«Somebody stole the sky.
That wasn’t our first thought when it happened, of course. No, we were too bewildered to understand the facts».
A magical and charming story.
«My butler, Chives, had gone to answer the door.
I made a great show of nonchalance, as I always do when unexpected visitors arrive during a period of crisis, and I took my oboe down from its shelf and played a...more

"I heard the tramp of feet, five feet in total, which meant only a single visitor, for three feet always belong to Chives; I gave him the extra leg when I invented him, for the sake of stability and speed. And also because he's a monster."
That's probably enough to tell you whether you'll enjoy this charmingly bizarre tale of the theft of the sky and its replacement with a stone ceiling. Renowned Absurdity Investigator (where's one of them when you need one?) Sampietro Mischief aims to find out w...more

"One day I’ll explain how to do this properly: how to musingly do many things, indeed."
How can you resist to Rhys Hughes' sense of humor? You can't, obiouvsly. In particular if you liked Douglas Adams or Eduardo Mendoza. Believe me: you'll enjoy this reading!
