Admitting you're gay is difficult enough. Can Philip Sands go even farther and admit he wants to be dominated?

Philip Sands needs a job. When he finds one at The Gate Room, a gay BDSM club owned and run by the sexy Mark Freeman, he's faced with a dilemma. He'd admitted to being gay years ago, but had hidden his submissive side, even from himself. Dressed in the sexy leather

My review cross-posted from Joyfully Reviewed:

Philip needs a job and The Gate Room, a gay BDSM club, seems to be the answer. Philip is intrigued by the activities The Gate Room’s members indulge in, and thanks to his risqué work clothes, he can’t hide his interest from anyone, including himself. Philip knows he yearns to be dominated, but he’s never fully admitted it. But with his lust-inducing job and his sexy-as-sin boss, Mark, fueling his fantasies, it

The owner, Mark, catches Philip's eye, even more so as they tour the club and Philip is given an overview of the toys. Philip has come out as gay, now has to admit to himself that meeting Mark has made him realize how much he wants to submit, to Mark. Philip wears the tiniest of uniforms (harness and leather jock), so there is an element of exhibitionism that he first finds embarrassing. Mark and Phillip do not ...more
Made me a bit squeamish because of the bsdm parts but Philip really seemed to be enjoying it and Mark wasn't as harsh as some of the other dominate men I've read of in the handful of bdsm books I've been exposed to.

I've always loved Jude's work. If I was really a reader of gay fiction, I'd have probably given this one five stars.

Jude’s imagination frequently leads her astray, and she eagerly follows while trying to keep out of trouble, or at least not get caught. For those of you who know her, you’ll know that’s not always easy. A picture, a smell, an unexpected glimpse of flesh, or a load of soil in the back of a pick-up, are all fodder for her writing. Her male characters run the gamut from the dominant male ruling his ...more
