I love this cookbook. I think I've used it more than any other cookbook on my shelf. We have probably 6 packages of leftover frozen burgers in the freezer now from the recipes. The variety is fantastic - from middle eastern to chinese to american. Really fun and easy - although I will say the recipes tend to take longer than the ones from my quick and easy or 30-minute cookbooks. But they are very tasty.
Just bought this book and its so cool. Its laid out really well with lots of fun notes and whatnot and there are tons of pictures (which I really like in a cookbook.) And lots of crazy fun new recipes...like dessert burgers.

101 globally inspired vegan burgers written by Joni Marie Newman who co-authored "The Complete Guide to Vegan Food Substitutions." This book is beautifully illustrated. I can't wait to try some of these new tastes. The ingredients are things you can buy anywhere. The recipes look easy.
Fun to flip through but the recipies all make really soft and mushy burgers. There's got to be a way to make a veggie burger with a bit of tooth, right? I didn't find it here.
Some of the recipes in here were good. However, it irritates me to no end that the title claims to have 101 veggie burger recipes. This is a lie. There is no getting around it. Some of the recipes are for cookies- and the author basically says "I know these are really cookies, but I'm calling them burgers". What is the point? You're not eating it on a bun with condiments. Some of these look really unique but others look yummy. There seem to be lots of ingredients that go into these. I love all the pictures, though!
I've made 10 or so recipes out of this book so far, and they've all been winners.
This book is incredibly badass. It's got a ton of recipes and they're all things I'd never thought of, plus tons of recipes for sauces and things.

interesting cookbook.
I made my 5th recipe from this book the other night for potluck - Seitanic Stuffers stuffed with mushroom, garlic and onion. They were a hit.
So of the 5 burgers I've made, 4 were a success. I'm gonna go ahead and give this book 4 stars. It's definitely one I'll be using again and again, unlike some books I could mention that sit in the drawer unused for too long.

Planning to buy this one. I liked most of the recipes I tried, and there's still so many that I haven't.

Too many tofu, seitan, and tvp recipes for my liking. Was looking for traditionsla vegetables like corn, broccoli, and spinach.
