Rather than write a review, I will post the handout that I've written for my therapy clients:

Stress Pressure Points

Use these when bothered by negative emotions, such as fear, worry, anger, stress. They lower the body’s stress level, and also allow you to rewrite your subconscious beliefs that cause stress (the issues of the heart).

Stress Pressure Points

2. Neck (Adam’s apple)
3. Point of the jaw (on each More...

Push aside your current beliefs, read and learn how you can easily heal yourself and your loved ones.

THE HEALING CODE is your healing kit for life, to heal the issues you know about, and the ones you don't. In 2001, Dr. Alex Loyd discovered how to activate a physical function built into the body that consistently and predictably removes the source of 95% of all illness and disease so that the neuro-immune system takes over its job of healing whatever is wrong with the body. His findi More...

When asked to read and review The Healing Code by Dr. Alexander Loyd and Dr. Ben Johnson, I was intrigued. The book cover reads “6 Minutes to Heal the Source of Your Health, Success or Relationship Issue.” I am like everyone else – looking for the “quick fix” so I told the publisher to send me a copy and eagerly watched the mail for the book.

Loyd and Johnson are Christian physicians who have written a book based on scientific research. In Part One of the book, the authors discuss th More...

The Healing Code by Dr. Alex Lloyd with Dr. Ben Johnson helps to instruct individuals on how to heal one's self on a cellular memory level. Both doctor's share their experiences, experiments and hypothesis on using the healing codes to aid and repair the issues inside of ourselves that we are unable to comprehend. They show the reader in an easy to understand format when dealing with the subjects of cellular memories, psychology, philosophy and spirituality.

Dr. Lloyd's wife, Trace More...

I have read several self-help types of books. I did find this book helpful in some ways, but I am a bit skeptical about The Healing Code itself. I can see that meditation and prayer are helpful and have used some of these methods before, but not like this.

Pros - Prayer and meditation are beneficial in reducing stress of all kinds which help the body to heal. I find all of these statements to be true.

Cons - My skepticism comes in by how it is written. It is very repetitive in More...

98% of this book is selling this book. Registered trademarks, testimonials and all. Repeated ad nauseam. Dumbed-down science and even recommendations to find Jesus. That last one alone had me setting the book down and abandoning for weeks on end. With a lot of disgust.

The thing that made me pick it back up regardless of all the oversell was the meat of it:

Energy is everything and everything boils down to energy
If you can remove the stress, almost anything can heal

I believe that to appreciate this book you have to be open minded to alternative healing theories or desperate for help. Even though I have studied various alternative methods, Reiki, Polarity, yoga, meditation, etc., I found it hard to believe that this simple energy technique could work. I have to say I still haven't decided one way or the other, although I'm willing to give it a try and test the results for myself. However, the entire first half of the book is devoted to the science and te More...

I’ve suffered from chronic pain since the end of 2005 and I have tried literally EVERYTHING to rid myself of this horrendous pain. When I saw this book, I thought I’d give it a try and see what The Healing Code was all about.
Most of the book is spent exploring the Seven Secrets of Life, Health and Prosperity and most of it did resonate with me. The basic concept that I took away from these secrets was that stress is the root of all illness. Your body can only take so much stress and when i More...

This book is definitely a keeper. I will buy it for my library. Energy healing is, I believe, the future of medicine. I think this form of healing, which includes prayer and directing positive energy to the four healing centers of the body, will be the basis of a new way of life for many people. The co author of this book is Ben Johnson, the only MD on the Secret. He completely eradicated Lou Gherig's disease from himself using the Codes. Pretty amazing since there's "no cure". I will More...

Overall, despite a few flaws, this is a must have for anyone wanting more from their life, especially their health. A wonderful book to help unblock you from the inner gunk (internal negative baggage) you've been carrying around in your subconscious mind, that you're probably not even aware of.
I've felt stuck for years, along with my Parent's. And we've gone through a few self help programs, as well as other energy routines, and other codes (Qu More...

This was a firstreads winner.

I haven't finished it yet, but I definitely have a few thoughts.

It reads like a long infomercial. There's a lot of hype, lots of grandiose claims, liberals sprinklings of testimonials and fantastic anecdotal success, but it mostly seems in the service of selling or pushing some product (so far they aren't clear on exactly what). I'm over 100 pages in and I'm finding I wish I could read on double speed just to get through it. If their codes act More...

I read this because I am interested in the science of consciousness and the relationship of consciousness to energy fields, and also in the relationship of the mind to the body. There are interesting ideas here, and experimentation with them may help many people without doing any harm (more than one can say about many of the drugs and procedures sold in the medical marketplace). But you do have to look beyond the author's need to sell the concepts to you. Can't really give this one a rating.

I was really skeptical about something that says it can help with depression and illness by using your mind. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The book recommends doing the healing code three times a day for 2 minutes each. It is like meditation for me and I actually feel a little bit giddy when I do it. I have tried everything from medication to acupuncture for back pain and this really seems to help. I have been in a lot less pain lately and I have been doing the exercise fo More...

Recommended by my homeopathic healer. Someday I hope to go back and give this book 5 stars, I believe in the authors' theory that our cells store destructive and/or unhealthy memories, and that these memories affect our health/emotions/choices etc... I am doing the recommended prayer for the recommended time (min. 6 minutes, 3x/day). I do feel better. I hope it will heal me from the inside-out of my chronic sinus infections. The miraculous healing stories are amazing. Great theory...we'll More...

Looks like a promising one for my current state of mind. Finished reading....came out to be more like a infomercial about the product "The Healing Code"......a bit difficult to understand the use of Quantum Physics....But the first few chapters are quite insightful & that can not be discounted. The code seems easy to do....can only beleive if some results show up....Nonetheless, a good read for a weekend.

The Healing Code is a great book. It takes time, consistency in application and an incredible amount of honesty to perform the codes. I use them and they work. They are so simple and that is why it is so hard to beleive that they can heal old cellular memories. I combine them with the Ho'oponopono or Zero Limits with Dr. Hew Len.

So far I find it quite exciting - a physician is showing how energy is at the bottom of health issues, and Alex shares his inspired solution to a means to address issues of the heart, which he feels are at the source of the problems.

The book ends up with a sound basis in science for the concept, and refers to verifiable tests that demonstrate a real change is taking place. Ultimately a code is given to use and guidance for how to use it.

I'm excited to try it and see what dif More...

This book has some great information for some powerful, but yet simple healing techniques, based in Prayer, Love and Forgiveness. I haven’t had a chance to try these techniques out, but I am looking forward to it.

If we are talking how the book was written and not the concepts inside, I give it three stars. If we are talking about the concepts, I give it 5...so I averaged it to four.

At first I was very skeptical, then I spent a week working with The Healing Codes Lead Coach, E. Thomas Costello and he treated me daily for 7 days and I left Florida to return home to Arizona refreshed, destressed and most of all with a new tool in my arsenal with which to combat the daily stressors in my life.

Any book that claims "fix everything in your life instantly" I'm a sucker for, ha. Can't really rate it one way or the other but I am fascinated by these kind of books.
